Nitro draft. Dark and lovely, soft, dense head. Soft caramel and roasted malt aroma. Creamy, light, and latte-like with a tad bit of tobacco thrown in. I enjoyed. commonshawn (1345) - Minnesota, USA - APR 1, 2017
Tap at town hall in 7 corners with commonmac during March madness. Nitro. Cola brown black with creamy off white head. Smells great. Very creamy mouthfeel. Taste is a subtle coffee vanilla chocolate. Soft and easy. Not a ton of flavor, but very pleasant. Well done. jackl (8597) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - SEP 23, 2015

Nitro at the brewpub. Coffee and smooth mouthfeel. Oily chocolate. Very drinkable. Works on nitro. arminjewell (9744) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - APR 20, 2015
Pour on tap at the brewery, dark brownish pour with off white head, aroma brought notes of cocoa, roast, acrid coffee grounds into a bit of vanilla, some slight chocolate, slight earth, grainy notes. Taste was a mix of cocoa, roast, nice coffee but slightly like old coffee grounds, acrid, some earth into a bit of yeast, slight caramel, finishing bitter.

Nitro pour at the brewery (Minneapolis, MN). Lovely pour shows cascading chocolate milk cakey crown, good retention and stick around with strong lacing throughout. Dark blackish body with some ruby glow as it tapers out from the middle. Aromas are a bit carmelized, biscuity, some nice coffee java jabs and a bit of earthiness. Initial is creamy but not light, a suitable body with nice toasty and pretzel elements, coffee and carmelized malts. A gentle sweetness, creamy Nitro body work well here. Backend is a bit toasty and bitter, lingering coffee and biscuit elements. While the coffee is enjoyable, offering earth and gentle cocoa notes it peters out a bit early and seems to lack a bit of complexity. A tasty beer that could really elevate with some better coffee potency. Nice beer. deyholla (12663) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - DEC 5, 2014

On tap at Town Hall. Pours a clear brown with red hues when backlit. Sparse beige head clings the rim. Aroma is chocolate malt and mild sweet coffee notes. Flavor is same, with thin body and medium carbonation. Mocha finish, solid. Bacterial (3080) - Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA - JUL 1, 2014
Light brown malty pour with a creamy tan head, served on nitro. Super creamy. Malt. Coffee. No bitterness from hops or coffee or chocolate or anything here. Ultra smooth. A little thin on the body for a porter style, but quite tasty. Nsanders (1193) - St Paul, Minnesota, USA - JAN 3, 2014
Tap on nitro at town hall lanes. Chestnut brown with a tall khaki head. Big coffee, malty, biscuits and earthy hop. Great balance of light sweet and dry bitterness. Lighter body, but creamy from the nitro. Solid porter.
