Black color with a thick head. Moderate coffee and roasted barley aroma. The coffee flavor seems like a very light blend, enough to notice it, but kind of buried by the chocolate and and roasted barley. Thinish body. camborne (656) - Hopkins, Minnesota, USA - FEB 7, 2013
Nose of coffee. Mellow coffee and chocolate palate. Really smooth beer and finish is awesome. Ryborne (53) - - FEB 7, 2013
Bitter and sweet, had the cask version perfect temperature and almost no carbonation.slight coffee taste. piscator34 (2508) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - NOV 3, 2012
Cask sample. Near black in colour with soft carbonation. Aromas are of fruity British yeast, mild coffee, and chocolate syrup. Flavors are of malted milk, chocolate, light coffee, and more orchard fruit. Light bodied, even with the lower carbonation. Not bad, but I wish there was more coffee presence. Nitro at GTMW, and one of my favorite beers from the weekend! Poured near black with the perfect nitro topper. The aroma picked up sweet, sweet coffee with lovely, complementary accents of chocolate and vanilla.. just what I needed. The flavor found sweet, roasty coffee throughout, with a little tangy green coffee around.. tasty coffee on the long finish. Buttery smooth through the palate with dense carbonation.. coating and delicious!

Tap @ Town Hall Tap Minneapolis. Pours a dark brown appearance with a light brown head. Mild coffee, a bit roasty, milky, light vanilla aroma. A bit roasty chocolate, fairly light bodied, coffee, light toasty flavor. Not bad but nothing special. drowland (8629) - Georgia, USA - AUG 25, 2012
8/11/12. GTMW - nitro tap. Black pour with a fluffy tan head. Luxurious coffee nose along with chocolate and touches of sweet caramel. Lighter flavor with more coffee and some chocolate, cream, and caramel. People can argue for or against nitro, but this was definitely a tasty entry. MIBRomeo (2570) - Wisconsin, USA - AUG 12, 2012
Pouring at GTMW 2012.
Dark brown pour with a huge dark very dense tan head.. this beer just looks sexy! Monsterous java nose, over roasted malts. Mouth feel was something I had to call "fluffy". Nice coffee flavor mixed with milk chocolate and a light roasty aftertaste. Simply delicious, I’m not a huge coffee fan, but I could drink this all day.
