Town Hall Surreal Chemistry. 16 oz. pour, on tap at the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy but mostly clear orange-brass with a small to moderate amount of nearly white / light beige head. Fruity smell features orange marmalade, caramel, raspberry, and vanilla scents. Dessert-like aroma, reminiscent of a custard. Fruity, creamy taste but with a strong showing from the dry continental pilsner hops. Tart and dry taste. Raspberry fruitiness and strawberry ice cream in the flavor. Crisp, lively, and quite refreshing in the palate. Very enjoyable overall. Takes the best aspects of a crisp, dry, hoppy continental pilsner and a fruit-centric English ale and works surprisingly well. 7/3/8/4/16=>3.8 Bacterial (2999) - Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA - APR 25, 2013
Draft at Town Hall. Not too shabby, but I feel that the cool name is almost wasted on this average pilsner. Slightly hazy amber in color, white head. Slight citrus hops in the aroma. Citrus and lingering bitterness in the finish. XmnwildX12 (2079) - Farmington, Minnesota, USA - MAR 27, 2013
