The pour is a hazed orange color with an off-white head. Sweet caramel, toffee, brown sugar, and honey. Good bourbon aroma, plenty of vanilla, and some oak. Actually a touch of hops in the background. Sweet sugar/malt flavors dominate. Heavy on the caramel, toffee, and brown sugar. As with the nose, lots of bourbon and vanilla with a light oak flavor. yespr (47567) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUL 29, 2012

Pours a golden color with a paperthin head. Aroma of bourbon, oak and vanilla. Taste follows, this brings out the barrel so well. Very smooth and tasty

Bottle. Pours a hazy orange with billowy white head. Aroma is an awesome Christmas tree sap and needles. Really unique and interesting considering the style. Taste is smooth caramel, some vanilla, malt, sugar. Overall, this bottle wasn’t infected as some have suspected. Aroma was the best part but was unique to the style. Didn’t really taste the barrel. hopscotch (11236) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - MAY 22, 2012
Bottle… WPB Town Hall Meeting 2012… Pours clear and golden with a small, white head. The nose is a malty merger of coconut, vanilla, sourmash whiskey and caramel. Full-bodied and velvety with medium carbonation. The flavor is a simple blend of caramel and bourbon. Hot, but tolerable. Finishes caramely, boozy and warming. Much thanks to landhoney and newcigarz for making this meeting possible! jtclockwork (17284) - , New Jersey, USA - MAY 17, 2012
Bottle. Pours reddish brown with white head. Nose/taste of applewood, bourbon barrel, oak, toffee, coconut, bready malts, caramel and honey. Nice complexity. Smooth silky finish with splash of warming alcohol. Medium body. jbeatty (1257) - New York, USA - APR 25, 2012
Bottle, tasted 04/20/2012, thanks to chewy08rx. Pours dull brown, burnt copper, frothy off-white head, fades to creamy glaze over the surface, fine lacing. Aroma largely barrel dominated: oak, big coconut, vanilla and sweet toffee, dark grain bread, and subtle, slightly tart apple for a crisp ending. Taste is sweet coconut bread, caramel and light fruitiness, pleasant spicy bourbon finish. Medium thick palate, but smooth, alcohol well hidden. Bold, rich flavors here, but not many complexities beyond the barrel influence, but still enjoyable.
