On draft @ the brewpub. Gold on colour with medium carbonation. Somewhat one dimmentional note of hops on the nose; they seem like some earthy US variety to me, with a bit of a minty note. In the mouth, the malts are pretty subtle with a bit of a mild bready note, but the bitter grassy/herbal hops are really what this beer is all about. Light-ish body, and quite bitter. Overall, it’s a fairly good lightwight hop delivery beer. kosko20 (352) - Bemidji, Minnesota, USA - SEP 9, 2008
Unimpressed with this special. Hoping for some hop presence but got none. No bitterness from hops either. Has a malt aroma, a gold appearance with no head, flavor of malt and some yeast, and a palate that was smooth but boring. Overall, I wasn’t too pleased but it wasn’t bad by any means. At Town Hall on 9/6/2008, pint was light amber yellow, with a smallish head. The aroma was hops and bready. The flavor was mostly hops, with a malt foundation to hold everything up. The palate was fairly rich. Overall, another APA that has a different name, but good none the less.
