Bottle on holiday in Lyme Regis. Now under the ’Lyme Regis’ label. Lightly hazy amber beer, a few pale cream colour bubbles. Palate is light, semi dry and has fine carbonation. Thin dry malts, some unsweet caramel. Floral bitterness. Whisper of dried fruits. Dry finish. Bitter linger. Passable bitter.

Classic sweet malty best bitter. Malty, nutty, and smooth in the mouth. Finish even nuttier. More an autumn beer, needing a chunky-knit jumper and a fireplace, and an old geezer with dodgy teeth boring everyone - oh - that’s me.

Drunk from 50cl bottle bought by a friend from the brewery. Very enjoyable with considerable sediment. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle( thanks to the teacher!): Light amber coloured, a bit unclear, lively carbonation, loose and slowly collapsing off-white head; delicate nutty and chocolatey(!) traces in the bitter and caramelly nose; dryish, still not too dry, bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied and a bit fizzy; lingering dry bitter finish, hoppy aftertaste. Good…

A reddish-brown ale. A light nutty malt aroma is matched by a hint of fruitiness. Dry mouthfeel. A well balanced bitterness in the taste, pithy citrus fruits, a touch resinous is paired with a dry, nutty, malty flavour that lasts well into the finish. Tasted at the Brewery, Lyme Regis, Dorset. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask at the brewery. Hazy brownish golden. Hoppy flavours dominate on a malty base, with some hints of nuts. Smooth palate.
