Light citrus. Dark amber pour with some head and lacing. Light bitter finish. Soft carbonation. Easy drinking but not much here. Tap at Barley Brothers Stadium. cfrancis (3536) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 4, 2015
Pours a dark brown with a small off white top. Aroma is woody, earthy caramel malt and hop. Taste is big sweet caramel malty body with earthy hops. Thanks to Erik for this. northropfrye (3677) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - APR 13, 2015
Amber body off white head. Nice lacing. Fruity hop aroma. Taste has a bit of fruit and resin followed by a harshly bitter medicinal aftertaste. piscator34 (2622) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - APR 13, 2015
On draft. Pale amber in colour with moderate bitterness. Aromas are of burnt orange peel, bread dough, and caramel. Fairly malty in the mouth with more of that sweet caramel and dough-like qualities. Faint sweet orange peel and resin on the back end. Lengthy and somewhat rough bitterness. Not a favorite. cards04 (2878) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - APR 1, 2015
I thought this was pretty good. Very hoppy but well balanced. Quite piney and green tasting.

Pours a hazy light brown with a small white head and a bit of lace. Aroma is caramel, and mildly fruity. Flavour is fruity, caramel, citrus, and mild bitterness. Not my favourite IPA. Sammy (12623) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 15, 2014
National 17th. Aveñue.Yellow with head. Watery.not too drinkable. Terrible. mcberko (18583) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 31, 2014
On tap at St. Augustine’s, pours a hazy dark orange amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney and citrusy hops, with an English hop quality, and a zesty malt base. Flavour brings out lots of piney hops, with secondary notes of citrus and dry crackery malt. Nice and piney. Finishes piney and slightly astringent. Much better than the average ratings suggest. Bottle, shared at the lake with Parksy, May long weekend. Very dark old-penny copper colour. Sweet caramel dominates the nose and the palate, with Del Monte fruit cocktail fruit character. Very little bitterness. A lightweight IPA to say the least; more an amber in my opinion. Oakes (18557) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 18, 2014
Dark amber...wow this is one the darkest IPAs I have seen. Aroma has a lot of lychee, with light amounts of orange zest, canned pears, spruce and maybe a dash of Special B. A fair bit of deep crystal chewiness, with a touch of earthy, resiny and slightly orangey hop. I’d call this is an imperial amber - nothing "pale" about this, but a good beer if you know what to expect.
