Bottle from sake flight at Soma. Pours clear with no head. The aroma is floral and fruit. Medium body, fruity, creamy, boozy finish, good.

bhensonb (15958) - Woodland, California, USA - JAN 23, 2016
Bottle from Bine & Vine.Pours like clear water. For me the aroma suggests greenish melon. Rather "medium" body. Flavor is clean with melon notes. Mostly for me there’s not a lot of flavor, unless it’s "rice". The heat hardly burns. This is very smooth.

Tmoney99 (15113) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 8, 2007
Bottle from Jungle Jim’s served cold. Poured clear pale color with good legs. Medium melon rice alcohol aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture. Medium complex tangy flavor with a medium sweet alcohol finish that was of moderate duration. Solid drinkable sake.

Bottle shared by bhensonb. Looks like water, smells like watermelon. The rice is prominent in the flavor with a bit of fruitiness and a very bitter finish.

SudsMcDuff (8538) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - MAY 25, 2015
bought at the Banging Rabbit Outlet Store .. the fish on the label looks like a fish version of charlie brown .. .very close to clarity of water .. . lots of perfume, melon, melon rind, and light grain alcohol .. . mouth has a touch of creaminess .. abv is very well done too, a really good junmai, but i would have liked it a bit more of a crispness .. . . yeah son- crows are wicked smaht!!

obguthr (6824) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - AUG 5, 2016
Honey nose, with subtle koji and airplane glue notes. Crystal clear, yellowish hue. Little initial flavor, but caramel and mild koji and melon appears later. Watery, warm. Inoffensive and super clean, but not a lot of complexity

Melon aroma. Clear. Smooth and delicate on the palate. A little sweet, with sugar and fruit.

thedm (6320) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - SEP 20, 2009
This bottled sake from a restaurant poured a head of clear colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a transparent uncarbonated body and no lacing. The smooth aroma was vinous polished rice. The semi-thick mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish with a mild alcohol burning vinous aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of somewhat unpolished rice. A decent one that I would consider buying again.

Much thicker than water but just as clear, this brew has a floral aroma with a touch of sweet melon and some fresh grasses. There’s an actual taste of rice, something I haven’t found in many Sakes that I’ve tried. The fruitiness is maintained and it has a dash of pepper. The alcohol, although strong, maintains a very quiet presence throughout. Decent.
