CanIHave4Beers (4184) - Pouring Bus, Iowa, USA - SEP 28, 2014
This cider here, this cider I had @ the Grand Tasting... Compliments of some kind soul.
Pours a very hazy yellow with a very small head that fizzes out.

The aroma is funky and lemony... it’s got some hay... but all pleasantries are sort of ruined by a phenolic plastic thing going on.

The flavor has the plastic and smoky phenolic flavors as well. It again has a nice tart apple, lemon rind, and earthy hay like character to it.
Seems like some batches/bottles of this stuff might be pretty good, it had a lot of the stuff I dig about Sidra, but that was coupled with some really undesirable elements as well.

brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - JUL 5, 2014
Bottle @ RBSG 2014 Grand Tasting. Hazed straw colored pour with a soda-like white head. Well, this is pretty funky. Lots of smoke and plastic. Some band aid, lemon juice, and sour apple. Intense cider vinegar, too. Quite sour on the palate. Smokey and a bit of plastic. Lots of lemon and cider vinegar. Apple skins and a hint of sweetness. Certainly funky. Not quite my thing.
