COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cider made from mixed varieties of cider apples: bitter, tart, sweet, bittersweet etc, according to traditional methods. Fermented in temperature-controlled wooden casks till January and February when it is repeatedly decanted between casks.

Colour: clear, transparent, bright yellow. A complex bouquet with hints of ripened apple; good presence in the glass. Fizzy and bubbly

Bottle at RBESG 2011 Grand Tasting at The Dean Swift, London. Pours clear, pale yellow with a few bubbles. Tart apple nose. Great flavor, lots of tart apples, light sugar, light funk. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet, faintly warming finish, medium tart apples that linger. Very good cider.

Tasted at RBSG grand tasting. Green bottle. Hazy golden color. Minimal head. Medium body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Great funky gueuze like aromas, some apple, spice. Moderate tart sour taste, light sweet. Amazing, complex cider.

Draft at Fountainhead, served in a small goblet. Musty and tart, farmy aroma of wet hay and Brett yeast. Crisply tart and very dry in the finish. Slightly cloudy pale gold color. Quenching and tasty, enjoyed this quite a bit.

Fresh bottle at the Sidrería El Ñeru, Madrid. Cloudy golden colour. Fresh sour apple aroma. Very good soft mouthfeel. Lovely sour fresh apple flavour. Sor dry apple finish. Yum! Goes great with the strong cheese called Queso Cabrales!

Pouring at the Basque Market during our RBSG17 stop for Basque ciders. Pours a hazed gold with a thin white head that falls after the pour. Soft apple, hay, barnyard funk and yeast. medium bodied, soft acid, a bit of vinegar, apple, big funk and musk. Funk on the finish, soft musk and apple.

Bottle at Tiera Astur Oviedo. A little bit on the sweet side, but overall nicely balanced. No wonder there is so much of it in Oviedo right now.

At the Basque Market during the RBSG 2017. Pours a cloudy gold with a white head. Nose of apples and funk/ Medium body. Flavor is funky with tart apples. Finishes quite funky. Delicious .

Bottle (2005 vintage!) courtesy of fiulijn whom I thank a lot :). After doing a huge job on Asturian cideries, I finally get to try an Asturian cider :). Yellow body bordering somewhere between hazy and murky. Nicely sweet and sourish corky appley aroma. Sweeter than I thought it would be. Sure, there is a relatively strong acidity and notes of glue (that are pleasant), but the underlying corky sweetness balances this out nicely. A lovely cider in my opinion.
