Not a stout fan, this one definitely just slips into he category of the typical stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This is one of my favorite tractor beers so far. It has a bit of bite to the mouth feel - which I like. It has earthy undertones with a slight burnt nutty finish. Nice and light for a stout - refreshing. It has a deep brown cloudy center. Only complaint is it doesn’t smell like much!

Beer #43 of NM 100. I almost really like it, but instead I just don’t like it. It has a super dry roasted grain flavor, but also then some other various nastiness. Not sure what, sometimes I find it chalky sometimes vegetal, sometimes cherry and acidic. I don’t know. I think the choice of hops is part of the problem strangely enough.

A little thinner than I’d like for the style. Clean and sweet, refreshing. Lacking some smoky depth and chocolate notes.

douglas88 (9180) - Portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 18, 2012
On tap at GABF 2012. Pours a pure black color with a medium tan head. A big nose of smoke and vanilla. The flavor is sweet malts, chocolate milk, a bit of a thin body, some light roast and caramel. Decent.
