Served in a Pub glass. It’s all about balance with the brilliant golden IPA. It pours with a frothy white head that is accompanied by a pleasant hop aroma which has hints of pine and fresh lemon. An excellent blend of northwestern hops and a touch of biscuit malt give Almanac IPA a refined bitter finish which is dry, refreshing and very easy to drink.

Can from Side Door Liquor after a late lunch of barbecue and getting to sleep for an early morning wake-up. Straight from the can: a very enjoyable IPA with medium bitterness from pine resin and grapefruit pith. Fairly balanced and has a lingering bitterness. Pretty pleasant.

Wonderful hoppy citrus aroma with light copper color. Bitter upfront with a floral citrus back. I'd like more body.

Nice light golden colored IPA, not a real pronounced nose on this pint, but the flavor was definitely there. Light bodied mouthfeel with citrus notes and a well balanced bitterness. I like this IPA a lot as it tends to be a little less heavy and hop forward as some other IPAs from this region.

A good east coast IPA. Gets a bad wrap here in Abq because of the intense hoppy styles of IPA that other breweries do.

Can - pours s clear, light copper color with a thin off white head. Simple aroma of basic pine and citrus hop combo along with a standard hint of caramel malt. Somewhat watery body. Flavors include more basic hop notes (slightly astringent) and minor butterscotch malt. Meh

On tap at brewery. So far, I’m underwhelmed. And the streak continues. Average pour with citrus aroma. Taste falls off, flat, uninteresting. Creamy body boosts this a bit, but not enough to save it. Just plain dull

Draft at the brew pub by UNM. Pours a clear copper color with a light hoppy aroma. Weird, malty taste with hops lingering. One of the worst IPAs I have ever had.

Can at home. Pours lightly hazy orange with a medium, frothy off-white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is dank hops, light celery and lemon hops with biscuit malt and pear esters. Flavor is moderate dank hops and bitterness, light biscuit malt and pear esters with a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Aroma has a fresh grassy, slightly herb like quality. A pale, gold color, clear sparkling liquid. Minimal head. Lightly sweet front, with a medium bitterness. Light hoppy, refreshing finish. A very good IPA without the need to destroy your palate with hops. Easy to drink, and drink... and drink!

It’s okay, not terrible, not exceptional. One of those middle of the road IPA’s. Little bit of citrus aroma some subtle tropical notes. Taste is about the same. Light citrus and hoppiness. Not much else really going on. Isn’t gonna blow you away or hop bomb your face off but it’s a good easy to drink IPA. Cheers
