Served in a Pub glass. Big, rich and malty - Farmer’s Tan Red Ale was designed to bring forward bold candy flavors that mingle with slight notes of earthy hops. Pour yourself on of these deep amber ales and let your senses enjoy the aroma of toasted caramel malt that finished slightly sweet and unbelievably delicious.

UPDATED: SEP 5, 2016 Draft @ Crowne Plaza ABQ. Very slight malt in aroma. Nice, dark copper red in color with white head & good lacing. A little light in flavor, but smooth. Light to med bodied. Overall, pretty good, but a little bland.

Aroma has hints of caramel. Copper/red color. Excellent clarity. True to the Irish Red style. Medium body and nice carbonation. Nice caramel and toast flavors. Easy drinking. New brewmaster and location have really paid off!

Can from local Smith’s. What others have said. Tastes like a very flat, very boring Oktoberfest. Not exactly terrible - this wins hands down over any typical American macro lager - but in a world of so much good beer, why waste the time? Oh well, I’ll save the rest for driving off evil spirits when the relatives visit.

BeerandBlues2 (14027) - Escondido, California, USA - MAR 29, 2015
Can at home. Pours clear tawny with a medium, frothy off-white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is lightly sweet honey and biscuit malt, pear esters and earthy hops. Flavor is sweet malt, light dark fruit notes, light earthy hops and bitterness with a sweet finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Beer #78 of NM 100. On tap. Weird crystal malt flavor. Dirty. Sweet in a bad way.

Sample at GABF 2014. Comes reddish brown with a decent beige head. Mild aroma of malt, caramel, and floral. Taste is the same. Below average at best.

travita (5008) - Dallas, Texas, USA - OCT 11, 2014
Can. The look is reddish in color, beige colored head, and clear. The smell is malty, toast, paper, slight burnt, and caramel. The taste is paper, floral, caramel, malt, roast.

Aluman (21) - Grants, New Mexico, USA - JAN 13, 2014
This beer is a disappointment, very pretty color, good head from sloppy pour. Tastes like water that had turned stagnant.

maltman53 (472) - Corrales, New Mexico, USA - SEP 23, 2013
Pours red brown black, roasted malt nose, a little astringent on the palate and finish.
