Served in a Pilsner glass. Haymaker Honey Wheat is a light honey colored wheat ale made with local New Mexico honey. This crisp beer strikes of honey followed by a slightly hoppy aftertaste. Make hay while the sun shines, drink anytime!

Marimarzen (5) - ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico, USA - JUN 7, 2016 does not count
Im loving the texture, its not too heavy or overwhelming. Light with a bit of orange and some coriander flavor at the back of the palate. Solid head! The flavor profile matches the style. Perfect for the summer because of the flavor but it has a solid full bodies mouthfeel that does not linger.

ketchepillar (1199) - Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA - NOV 1, 2014
Beer #42 of NM 100. Aroma is more corn than wheat. Surprisingly dry, in a nice way. Slightly vegetal.

ads135 (4924) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - DEC 28, 2012
I find the sweetness of this beer a bit off putting. Its not extreme, but the beer could’ve stood a bit less. Weak and watery with slightly musty wheatiness.

tomciccateri (1034) - Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA - JUL 1, 2012
Labeled 6.0 ABV. On draught at taproom. Fine bubbles but no head. Light body, with wheaty flavor made to seem more "heavy" due to honey character and sweetness. Overall, clean and a light summer beer.

BDR (2534) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - NOV 28, 2010
Almost juicy flavor. Nice wheat character with balancing malts. Body is light orange yellow. The aroma was a little weak but good.

Rciesla (5499) - Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA - JUL 24, 2009
Bottle. Pours a golden body with a white head. Grainy, sweet, hints of apples and floral pear. Sweet and wheat y, just not very good.

zach8270 (4021) - Henrietta, New York, USA - JAN 18, 2009
(bottle - 12 oz) Cloudy pale yellow with a fizzy white head and lots of little floaters. Aroma is light, grainy, and slightly sour. Flavor is much the same. Very grainy from the wheat with some hints of honey but an unpleasant sour note. Not good.

j12601 (13035) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - OCT 16, 2008
Bottle. Pours a hazy straw color with a creamy staying white head with flecks of brown sediment. Sediment is prevalent throughout the beer as well and dances around in the glass. Sweet aroma with hints of apple and other firm fruit. Tastes very light with notes of champagne or a hard cider, but otherwise rather empty. Crisp finish with more of that cheap and sweet sourness I’d expect from a wine cooler or somesuch.

jcwattsrugger (12517) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - SEP 28, 2008
12 oz bottle-pours a foamy white head and slightly hazed gold color. Aroma is honey, hint of wheat. Taste is tart and harsh, acidic upfront, some honey. Rating saved by aroma and appearance.

blipp (9598) - La Mesa, California, USA - APR 9, 2008
Bottle. Pours hazy yellow with many visible particles and a white head. Aroma is sweet and fruity with notes of apricot, peach, and honey. Light body. Flavor is more tart than sweet. Notes of apricot, melon, and wheat. Not surprised to see this rated so low, but I didn’t think it was too bad.
