Can. Opaque dark brown color dense yet fine beige head with good retention. Aroma of dark chocolate. Taste is sweet but not cloying chocolate milk. Tasty. anstei (2746) - Zurich, SWITZERLAND - SEP 5, 2016
Bottle at Erzbierschof Monday Club. Intense sweet coffee and mocca aroma. Nice lacticity, again very nice flavours, medium body, lively carbonation. Lasting sweet delicious finish. Perfect balance of all compontens. Not the most intense milk sout, but a benchmark for others for sure. BelgianBeerGal (4255) - Panama City, Florida, USA - AUG 2, 2016
Can poured into a sweet Hampton Inn paper cup in Alamogordo. Dark cola like pour with a thin tan head. Nice coffee and chocolate in the aroma with a hint of lactose. Wow huge flavor of sweet coffee and milk chocolate. That was way better than I would have ever guessed. Tends to the sweet side at first but the coffee bitterness balances it out and lingers in the finish. Mighty fine. Thechasm442 (1006) - Denver, Colorado, USA - FEB 20, 2016
Can to tulip. Black with an average tan head and decent lacing. Aroma is barley, a little chocolate, and lactose. Flavor is chocolate, cream, a bit of coffee, and milk. Creamy overall with a touch of dryness. Decent beer. parkerj (53) - Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA - JAN 1, 2016
A little thin bodied, but I suppose that makes it drinkable. Pretty tasty if you like sweeter stouts.

Can. Pours clear black with a small, frothy beige head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is sweet roast and chocolate malt with lactose, prunes, figs, and light earthy hops. Flavor is sweet chocolate malt, light earthy hops and bitterness, dark fruits and a sweet finish. Medium body and carbonation. CarlosTheTall (14) - Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA - MAR 16, 2015
I drank it straight from the can. The aroma was very traditional stout. The malt is chocolaty with coffee and carmel notes. Sweet leather taste. There’s a touch of smokiness on the after taste. A very balanced, tasty beer! katyladybug (1) - - MAR 16, 2015 does not count
On the nose: Notes of coffee & chocolate, a roasty, slightly effervescent, mildlly alcoholic aroma. Opaque molasses color with slight brunette tinge or aura. Head is minimal due to coming from a can, but the color is lovely, comparable to espresso crema. Medium sweetness, lightly bitter, lightly sour. Mouth feel offers a full body, a creamy texture, lively feel of carbonation. travita (5008) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JAN 15, 2015
Can. The look is clear, dark, and black in color. The smell is roasty, malt, burnt, toast, chocolate, coffee, and ok. The taste is burnt malts, coffee, roast, toast, decent.
