22oz bottle - back of the cellar shelf from some unknown reason. Poured a golden color with a larger sized head. Shows its age, but no surprise and not sure if it would have been all that good fresh, but I guess I will never know ... jgb9348 (6438) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - DEC 29, 2012
Golden coloured body with a large, three centimetre tall white head with a bit of haziness in the body. Aroma of pale malt, some light alcohol and a tiny bit of sugars. Light to Medium-bodied; Nice pale malt flavour with a grassy and herbal note, with a hint of hops noticeable and very little else, just the balance of hops and malt. Mild aftertaste with only some pale malt and a hint of basement mustiness and alcohol noticeable. Overall, an okay beer - but I wasn’t expecting much from the style. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Half Time in Poughkeepsie, New York on 26-December-2012 for US$2.99 sampled at home in Upstate New York on 29-December-2012. sebletitje (10287) - Enghien, BELGIUM - JUL 17, 2010

A: Pours a pale yellow hue. Small white head, no retention or lace.
S: Nice little faint aroma. Hints of pale malts, rice?, bread, and mild citrus.
T: Mild flavors as well. Lightly grainy, corn with hints of cracker. Mild citrus, with hints of rice cereal, and a touch of grass.
M: Very light in body, mild, but drinkable. Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - APR 27, 2010
Weird niche brewer concept that pulled my eyes enough to venture into one of their basic offerings, but not enough to buy the whole lot. Well, I must say it pretty much met the expectations, providing a simplistic, but clean pale golden lager where soft, sweetish cerealic malts have strong ricey connotations. Its white foam sticks to its top as vigorous bubbles contribute to both head retention and tight bubbles in mouth. Limited aroma profile. The hops provide a light, herbal, rather green, spicy bitterness that remains shy all along. Slight grainy, lemony acidity concludes it all. Certainly not aimed at the beer geek, but faultless.

1/16/10 On draft at the brewpub. Aroma is a floral but unmistakably Saaz note forward with a light pils sweet/sour background to balance. Appearance is clear straw with a persistant medium White Head. Flavor is more hop/malt balanced, with a touch of caramel blending with the bittering finish for great palate clensing. Mouthfeel is moderate bodied with a suprising light creamy texture and light carb texture. A good balance of traditional ingredients that favors a singular noble hop note helps make a very refreshing beer that doesn’t skimp on character. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - JAN 2, 2010
Bottle:   Vibrant straw, fairly clear, moderate to large white foamy head, nice lacing, soft carbonation.   Grassy nose, slightly sweet, a little straw and hay.   Heavy grassy notes on the tongue, aformentioned hay
and straw.   Clean finish, perhaps a very slight buttery tinge.   Pretty straight forward but still enjoyable.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Does feel a little bit heavy, or perhaps too grassy.   I don’t say
this too often, but I bet this might be more quenching if it were a little bit lighter.   Looking forward to trying their Hefe’s. zach8270 (4021) - Henrietta, New York, USA - DEC 4, 2009
(bottle - 22 oz) Hazy light gold color with a very thin white head. Aroma is dry and lightly bitter with a dry hop and slightly wet grass note. Dry and grassy flavor at the start with a very light middle of grass, corn, and some light malts. Finishes dry and clean with very little bitterness. Not bad.
