OK; just OK. The mango is discernible, and the base beer does appear to be a hefe. But, the flavor is quite weak -- even for its pretty spot-on ABV of 5% (for this style that is). And, not much hefe flavor going on. More of a "beer with some mango flavor." That said, highly drinkable. Nicely carbonated. nuplastikk (6275) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 23, 2008
500ml. Murky orange-brown color. Very well executed beer. Starts off with a solid Weizen mouthfeel which fades into a pleasant mango aftertaste instead banana. I can see purists sticking up their noses at this one, but I think it works quite well. A good balanced beer. Worth trying. crossovert (12927) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 3, 2012
I think i got an old bottle. Tons of yeast floaties. Smell isnt bad. Wheat + mango yogurt. The flavor is tart mango. Actually, though old this is pretty good. slimchill (1044) - Austin, Texas, USA - JAN 6, 2009
Bottle. weird musky aroma, light fruity sweetness. Cloudy pale yellow with a thick bubbly head and nice lacing. Strong grain aromas open up. Sharp. Fades into a clean fruity sweetness. Mango but not overly fruity. Cherry is there too. Very clean and enjoyable with an almost syrupy texture without the sweetness. Finished light and fruity. A nice fruit depth. A touch undercarbonated, but a good drink. scrizzz (2223) - Bothell, Washington, USA - MAR 24, 2009
Juicy ripe mango aroma, clean gold and a squishy white head. Very clear to be unfiltered, but whatever. Thirst quenching and very juicy. The mango and wheat marry together so nicely even though there isn’t much depth, there is still a level of complexity. I love what they are doing with their beers.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with a medium off white head. Aroma of mango, banana, wheat and malt. Taste is semi sweet of fruit, malt and yeast.
Has a nice easy to enjoy flavor that was different. I actually thought it was a nice change of pace.Good brew! poisoneddwarf (2511) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - APR 5, 2013
Bomber labeled as Northwest Brewing Co Mango Weizen. Pours hazy orange with a medium off-white head. Aroma is strong in mango with a little funk. Taste is lightly sweet and tangy with a dry finish. The mango is fairly strong. Body is thin, mouthfeel is creamy, carbonation is soft for style. It’s a good fruit beer made with a less than common fruit. Tastes good. Strong smell, okay taste. Mango is kind of an aftertaste. Very fruity beer kinda drunk 19Ei8hty (1166) - Washington, USA - JUN 8, 2008
Oh man do I hate mangos - going into this with an open mind - keep it together, Nick - gotta get through this rating... Ah thank god, it is a wheat beer after all. Very nice looking drink - deep orange and amber with a nice fluffy white head. Lots of smooth wheat malt evident in all facets of this drink - suprisingly heavy malt body with a light citrus presence. The mango is not the central component of this drink - which I am happy with - but is a very well paired accent to a very rich and heavy wheat backbone. Great wheaty finish, mild banana notes that also pair well with the mango. IndianaRed (4617) - Boise, Idaho, USA - AUG 23, 2009
Bottle pours a very cloudy orange with a modest but tight off-white head. Some mango aroma and a little bit of stale bread.
Flavor is a basic mild american wheat with a hint of soft mango. not over powering and definitely not mango soda pop ish. The unfiltered feel is nice and petty much what I expected. Mild, a bit bland but with an interesting twist. carbonation was a littel soft. but it works here. Doesn’t try too hard to be a "Fruit Beer" and it is good for what it is.
