Poured into a pint glass with golden amber color and small fizzy offwhite head. Nose is toasty, nuts and light red fruits all being very subdued. Initial mouthfeel is crisp, sharp and light bodied displaying nuts, red berry and caramel. Mid palate to finish is bitter hops that are somewhat astrigent. Palate duration is average. Minor head retention. Drinkable, extremely light.

Aroma: Heavy yeast aromas with hints of caramel. Appearance: Dark, clear amber with no head. Taste: Light sweetness with medium sourness in finish. Palate: Medium body, average carbonation, slick texture, long finish. Overall: Much too yeasty. It balances in the finish, but barely.

Ar: Malty, slight hint of corn and caramel, a touch floral. Ap: Orange-amber with a medium-small white head with moderate retention - a small but solid ring of lacing. T: Lightly sweet, toasty and touch spicy - peppery and malty through to the finish, with a medium-low bitterness and a grassy undertone. P: Medium-light body with medium carbonation - finish is dry. O: A nice vienna - clean and refreshing with an elegant malt character.

Golden color with a little white head. Aroma was a bit strange ranging from wet grass/straw to some hints of something sweet. Good taste but, nothing real special.

Bottle. OK session beer- body is pretty light, a touch watery. Caramel color, no head. Flavor is bread, crackers. No hops or bitterness. A bit disappointed by this one...pretty bland, usually the TJ brews are pretty good- this one is sub-par.

MadMan (495) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - OCT 22, 2007
Bottle from Trader Joe’s. Pours a darker amber with thin white head. Aroma is light, with sweet malt with a hint of caramel. Thin and watery with strong yet hidden carbonation. Flavor is equally light in character with sweetness throughout, some malt and caramel, a hint of citrus and grapefruit bitterness, and a short flat finish that is lightly bitter. It hints at roastiness at times but never fully comes through. Something is "off" in the nose but I can’t define it. Not too bad.

TheOrange (479) - Kent, Ohio, USA - FEB 12, 2007
Nice clear amber pour with a slightly yellow head. Nice sweet malty aroma. thin to medium body beer. With very low hops the sweet malty aroma comes across with caramel character. This malt is mild and pleasant. The finish is slower and bitter with a slight buttery flavor. Way too carbonated. An OK Vienna.

Golden-amber in color. Faint aroma of caramel and biscuit. Smooth caramelized flavor with toasted hay. An mild drinking Vienna. Can’t beat the price either.
