12 oz. bottle from Trader Joe’s Chapel Hill
Ar: Aroma is a bit off. Standard caramelly malt aromas but laced with an odd sourish vinegary/metallic note. Neither expected nor desirable.
Ap:Good looking beer. Pours a clear amber with a frothy 1" head that leaves really nice lacing.
T: Fairly sweet malty flavors of caramel and bread dough. Finish is mildly bittered but oddly metallic.
P: Medium body, a bit sticky. Carbonation seems slightly above average.
O: Strong presence of a couple of off-flavors. Along with the Bock, the weakest of the $1 TJ’s offerings that I’ve had.
Amber with off white head - Malt aroma with some hints of caramel - Malt body with some caramel flavours and there is hints of hops and bitterness - Malt goes into the finish - This was ok MattH (910) - California, USA - APR 1, 2016

Bottle, 12 fl oz, Trader Joe’s, Fort Lauderdale. Overall decent, a bit watery though. Metalchopz (3529) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 1, 2015
Purchased at Trader Joe in Vegas. Pours an amber colour with a very slight haze. The head is warm, lasts a good time and creates thick lacing. The aromas are mild but with a nice blend of cereal, caramel and hints of fruity malts. The taste is a little sweeter, fruitier, but still malty. Hints of spices, decent bitterness. A little apples. Not a bad beer overall and better than their Bohemian lager.

Clear, dark amber with a bit of white head. Aroma of caramel malt, but a little bitter. Flavor is okay, but too bitter and astringent a finish. markas101 (2499) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - OCT 13, 2015

Bottle at a BOSS meeting thanks to Raith. Pours amber with a very creamy, off white head. Aroma is slightly malty and flavor follows. Watery body. Decent beer. Suttree (6504) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - APR 23, 2015
Light bronze, with a nice sized sturdy white head. Smells like sweet molasses and toast. Flavor is nicely sweet, with more molasses, some more toast, and some subtle smokey notes. Not bad...
