Cask at SRAF 2010. Pours deep brown, nose is malty, roasted, nutty, taste is dry, sweet, toffee. JohnRMurdoch (5152) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - JUN 29, 2012
Cask @ SRAF 2012. Medium brown colour, hazy, not much head. Mild fruity caramel malt aroma. Dry grassy malt flavour. Bitter aftertaste. I’m a bit puzzled by this one. Name and description on the cask & in the programme suggest a mild. This beer I had was definitely a bitter. Perhaps the cask was wrongly labelled. Not a beer seen very often. Even though it wasn’t great I will need to try it again just in case it was the wrong beer. cgarvieuk (26422) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 27, 2010

Cask @ Scottish Real Ale Festival 2010. Very dark brown, cola coloured, no head. Aroma of roasted malts, bit of sour fruits, hint of coffee. Flavour is roasted malts, sour fruits. Sour finish. Watery and lacking body. Disappointing.
