Clear dark amber beer with a beige head and a tangy, malty aroma. Flavour is malt with a touch of tangy citrus and an earthy aftertaste. It’s a bit livelier than I’d like and ultimately a touch bland. Stuu666 (13367) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 21, 2015

Aroma is roasty malts, caramel, light oak and earthy hops. Taste is quite pale but it is smooth roasted malts with a well balanaced hop profile. Finishes flat however. Appearance is a clear brown with a thin pearl head that retains fairly well. AshtonMcCobb (6581) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 26, 2015
On cask at the White Lady.

Nose - toffee and light chocolate. Light biscuit too.
Taste - caramel shortbread.
Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish.
Overall - fairly rich and fairly refreshing. Good. chinchill (4985) - South Carolina, USA - APR 22, 2015
500 ml bottle with a new label but still listing 4.5% ABV. BB date of April 2016 (1 year away).
Accurately described on the label as "Slightly sweet and malty taste with a hint of toffee."
Sweet and malty but, given this, the balance seems good, no defects, but limited complexity.
Improved with warming. nihtila (3634) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 27, 2015
