(From LCBO; w/ jerc)
341 bottle from LCBO. Pours a clear copper with a small white head. Sweet malt aroma with slight woodishness. Flavour is underwhelming - wood is more prominent but little malt profile. Light carbonation and body. Pretty mediocre. mgermani (1002) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 26, 2009
Pours a copper-orange with no head. Aroma is vague fruity citrus - perhaps chinotto? Vaguely woodsy. Nothing overtly cedar here - some hops and that vague woodsy note, vanilla and other earmarks of cream ale. Lingering flavourful finish, although the flavours... Light carbonation, thin body. Meh. Wish there were more distinct cedar notes here. Average. jercraigs (10374) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 14, 2009
2009-06-14. Hazy amber body with a small quick white head. Aroma is mild, light yeast touches, muddled malt. Mild wood touches are light but are the predominant identified note in the aroma. Flavour is similarly muddled, light bitterness throughout, light wood and malt blended together, wood lingers in the finish and becomes cumulative as you drink through the glass. Not unpleasant but it never quite comes together. Not infected or off as seems to be the case for some other Palatable while chilled but does not entice me back for more. Bottle from LBCO Diogène (1208) - Mirabel, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 10, 2009
Bottle. Clear copper with a thin bubbly white head with poor retention and average lacing. Aroma is mostly corn with metal, slightly toasted malt and minimal hopping. Flavor is sweet malt, metal, corn, boiled vegetables and grassy hops. Medium body.

Aroma is a soft malt, slight woodiness, amber, tiny white head. Taste is malt, nuts with wood notes. Slight bodied, but pleasantly bitter. Good. EnSiFeRuM (501) - Quebec, CANADA - MAY 10, 2009
Bottle - 341ml. Hazy amber body with average carbonation and a thin white foamy head. Decent malty/hoppy aroma with some woody and pine hints. Taste is well balanced but it lacks complexity. Ends with a short bitter finish. Not a bad ale. jgb9348 (6269) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - MAY 2, 2009
Clear golden tinted copper coloured body with a very thin slightly off-white head - not too nice. Aroma of fresh fruit, apricots, malt and some hops. A bit of yeast and toffee as well in the scent, but nothing too strong. Light-bodied; Sharp astringent malty flavour with a cardboardie and watery flavour following right behind. Aftertaste shows the bitter malt, some light sugars and a lot of water - pretty bland. Overall, not such a great beer, but definitely not offensive. More watery than I expected, but not horribly so. I sampled this 12 ounce bottle purchased from the LCBO in Downtown Ottawa, Ontario, Canada on 08-April-2009, sampled on the Eastern Shore of Virginia on 01-May-2009.
