500 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a near clear amber brown with small, soapy off-white head. Aroma is toasty caramel and biscuit with some earthy bitterness. Flavour is toasty grains, toffee and earthy bitterness. Lightly carbonated. One of Trafalgar’s better offerings. Freaky_tiki (1300) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 5, 2013
Another earthy offering. I like what these guys are doing. Their nose is less in the business plan & more in the adventure. Worth it. Metalchopz (3443) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 13, 2013
Originally rated January 2010. Bomber bottle from the LCBO, cellared for a year. Pours a golden-orange colour with lots of little bubbles for carbonation. Huge off-white head that is fluffy with maximum retention and full of lace. Good aromas of the fuggles hop with some notes of nutty and caramel malts. A nice balance again in the flavours, with the caramel malt and the hop. A mild bitterness is present all the way through and into the aftertaste. Notes of nuts, light fruits (oranges, apples) A shock for a brew from Trafalgar... beautiful looking, no infection, very well-balanced all-over. Probably the best beer brewed by this brewer and an excellent overall ESB. Viper666 (3289) - Richelieu, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 14, 2013
Tasted Feb 2012
Aroma: Lemon and orange, mainly hoppy aromas.
Appearance: Hazy brown with a mix of frothy and creamy head, average lasting, no lacing.
Taste: Very lemony attack, even perfumed, with notes of orange. A bugging metallic aftertaste and a very unpleasant acidity is coming out of it. Bad bottle? Not like the ESB’s I tasted before.

500 ml bottle. Pours a clear light amber with a very minimal head. Aroma is honey, biscuit, pine, and grapefruit (great combination). Tastes are sweet malts forward with gentle citrus hops on the backend. Light bodied relative to what the aroma would lead you to believe. Medium bittern finish and little carbonation. Nice summer session beer but would be a little bit better with a little more body. Hammy78 (974) - Dundas, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 15, 2012
Bottle purchased at the Dundas LCBO. Pours clear light red brown, bubbly head that is gone as fast as it appears. no lacing. Nose is pretty much butterscotch, that reminds me of MacGregors butterscotch toffee (I think that’s what it was called). Tastes sweet, a little bitter and pretty much butterscotch. I’m not normally a fan of their brews but this is pretty good. LBarouf (130) - Ontario, CANADA - AUG 29, 2012
Aroma: cereals and caramel, a little floral and earthy
Appearance: pours amber/orange, fairly clear with an off white head.
Taste: medium bitter and a little sour.
Palate: Medium to full body, feels a little creamy. average carbonation and bitter finish.
It’s a nice try for a bitter beer. Thanks to the label that told me the meaning of ESB... I guess people around there don’t know what beer is. Anyhow, not bad. I prefer other ESBs, but I could drink this again. robinvboyer (4719) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 13, 2012
Clear brown pour, small white head. Aroma of toasted cereals, light nuts, and some earthy, grassy hops. Light sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium bitter finish, with a solid toasted nut that lingers. Tiger_08 (138) - Sarnia, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 26, 2012
July 25 2012. 500ml bottle pours clear chestnut brown with amber hues. Beautiful colour but little bubbly head wrecks the appeal. Aroma is grassy hops and biscuit malt with a twist of pine or something a little spicy. Taste is grapefruit hops up front quickly turning to more earthy hops with the depth of roasted malts present. There is a bitter feel, not enough to call it a bite but rather a spice like pepper. Palate is a tad slick but good lingering mouthfeel. Not a fan of the brewery's offerings so this was a pleasant surprise and scored higher than where my gut feeling places it.
