COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Derived from the simple mixture of fermented honey, water, and yeast, the art of mead-making reaches back thousands of years, peaking in the Middle Ages. The spiritual and cultural significance of mead has been celebrated throughout the ages. The braggot pours a clear medium gold colour with a short-lived white head. Aroma is tart fruit, grains, and weak honey notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, and highly carbonated. Flavour is tart fruit, and furniture polish. Hopefully meads and braggots made by other brewers taste better.

Pours pale orange gold with a small white cap that disappears quickly. Aroma is dark fruits and malts. Flavours are dark fruits, malts and alcohol. Not a fan.

375 ml bottle. Clear golden colour, thin white head. Aroma of sweet honey with malt and notes of apples. The flavour is sweetish, mildly malty, with honey and some floral notes. Nothing special.

Bottled. I was surprised theres no sediment in the bottle despite the fancy cork. The aroma is too sweet and the whole thing is nasty. Drainpour.

This is the first time I try mead. The subtle honey sweetness seems well coupled to the malt finish, if not a little overpowered by it. Not a complex brew with a malty prevalence. Not too bad!

UPDATED: SEP 26, 2016 Clear golden color, a bit of white head. Aroma is similar to cough syrup with some propolis. Taste starts with a slight sweetness but overall its quite dry and it doesnt taste too good. Its weird, I dont like it.

Thick golden pour. No head. Aroma is sweet, honey. Flavor is potent upfront. It's sweet and alcoholic. Honey in the finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

First shot at mead! Poured in glass, did not deliver much head. Has a medium light brown colour. Extremely carbonated, very strong on carbonation. A sweet tangy mouthfeel. Has a strong citrus aroma. Alcohol is prevalent. Some apples and pears in flavour, almost a cidery taste. Has a strong alcohol aftertaste but not offensive (this one is at 8.5%abv). Pretty good. Would like to try more from different sources.

Bottle. Cloudy golden pour, no head. Aroma is sweet honey, floral, a hint of hops. Flavour is lighter than expected, mostly sweet with a slight tartness. Not hugely flavourful and not a great balance, but an interesting take on mead with the malt and hops added.

509ml ceramic bottle. Pours Opaque off-gold. Aroma And taste are fairly off-putting. Some faint caramel notes, but earthy, vegetal unbalanced mess.

pours almost clear bright golden orange with a very small cap, little retention, no lacing. yeast - touch of dust and metal, toasted caramel - linear, faint fruitiness - overripened honeyed apricots, golden candi, assertively grassy and kind of astringent, citrus. lively and soft carboantion - unstable; light to medium body - oily but feels kind of light, slightly boozy, astringent and assertive grassy finish. not a fail - which is a rare trafalgar find, but their ginger mead proved to be more complex and interesting.
