May 3, 2012 - with blankboy, garthicus, gregclow, jercraigs & mabel. Bomber c/o greg? Hazy deep amber with a smallish frothy off-white head. Aroma is grainy and a little catty, mostly floral - pretty clean for these guys, and for a wonder not incredibly sweet, either (7-). Tastes ... like a bitter - floral malt - not bad. Average body, weak carbonation, grainy and a little acidic in the quickish finish - the bitterness takes a while, but it builds to a respectable level. bottle. Poured amber-orange with a thick creamy off-white head. Orange citrus hop aroma. Medium-full mouthfeel, creamy texture that finishes with a tart sticky dryness. Caramel malt and grapefruity hops, medium dry. A very drinkable beer, didnít realize it was an ESB when I picked up due to the Irish flag on the label. mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 24, 2012
[4409-20120504] 650mL bottle. Spruce orange hops aroma. Slightly hazy, golden orange body with a creamy off-white head. Bitter light citrus sap hops flavour. Medium body has a little hoppy kick to it. Surprisingly tasty, I quite liked this one. (8/4/7/4/15) 3.8

Bottle [650ml] shared with HogTownHarry, garthicus, GregClow, jerc & mabel -- c/o garthicus. Pours a hazy orange-copper with an average size diminishing frothy off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, grain and a decent amount of hempy/catty hops -- this doesnít smell like an ESB but it doesnít smell bad, which is a good thing. Flavour of caramel malt, some fruit and a decent bitter finish. Average bodied. Pretty good for Trafalgar. jercraigs (10303) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 6, 2012
2102-05-04. Crisp orange amber body, small beige head. 3+ Flavour is mild, light orange citrus hops, mild muddled grains below. 6+ Similar aroma, mild orange hops, light grains. Average to light palate, soft carbonation. Shockingly acceptable, actually pretty decent and quaffable. Bottle shared by Garthicus

Thanks to Herrbrown. Appearance: golden orange, tiny white head. Aroma: grainy, a little catty, floral. Flavour: average body, a little acidic, floral, bitterness builds as I drink on. Certainly tastes quite nice. Pretty solid. gilvanblight (825) - Windsor, Ontario, CANADA - APR 28, 2012
Hazy orange brown pour with a white head. Head is lasting with a touch of lacing. Grassy herby toasted nose. Wow thatís a bitter bite in the mouth. Yes I know itís an Extra Special Bitter but it still surprised me. Gotta love a bitter thatís actually bitter. Unless you are me and donít like over hopped bitter beers. I knew this going in though. Not bad, not something I would have grabbed normally but I hadnít had it before. Not my style and probably wouldnít buy again. I know there are people out there that will like this though, like my wife. WheatKing (1338) - Phnom Penh, CAMBODIA - APR 26, 2012
Piney bitterness mixed with funk. So at least itís different. Iíve yet to try their Elora ESB; maybe next Saint Patrickís Day a blind taste test is in order. cyrenaica (1126) - Milton, Ontario, CANADA - APR 10, 2012

I tried this beer on April 10, 2012 after purchasing from the Queenís Quay LCBO outlet in Toronto, Ontario. The beer pours a translucent scarlket red colour with a thin white ring for a head. The aroma is caramel malt, floral hops, and some mild fruity notes. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour contains the Trafalgar funk, some metallic hops, and off-flavoured caramel.
650 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours amber in colour, nice big off white head, frothy. Leaves some lacing. Slightly hoppy aroma, nice big resiny hope aftertaste, moderate malt backbone. Not an ESB at all, but very drinkable from Trafalgar!
