It poured a clear yellow color with a small white head. The aroma was of straw, bread, spicy hops and light citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Clear dark straw. Smooth. Slight creamy. Pretty light with a nice hint of lasting bitter. topherh (1929) - Kearney, Missouri, USA - JUL 2, 2009
Pours gold with a decent white head. Nice hoppy aroma. Flavor is nice and malty with a dry hoppy finish. The best of their beers that I tried. xmarcnolanx (940) - Kirkwood, Missouri, USA - JUN 3, 2007
A very decent pilsner. A nice floral hoppy beer. Definitely their best beer.
Much better unfiltered. sethdude (706) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - APR 30, 2007
Easily the best offering from this brewer. Poured gold with a small head, great lacing on the glass. Aroma is initially floral hops, caramel malts, and a very slight citric hint. Flavor is also very floral, bitter rose hearts and mild cereal malts balance elegantly. Mouthfeel is quite full for the style, almost chewy. This may be the best example of this style I have ever had. Brilliant!
