Its raspberry tartness and malt sweetness are reminiscent of this style's Belgian predecessors.

On draught at the brewery as part of a sampler.Poured a slightly hazy copper with a beautiful white, huge head that retained well and created a coating covering down the glass. Moderate raspberry and fresh tart aspects. One of the better of the bunch.

Sampled at the 2013 Heritage Festival. It poured a golden color with almost no head. The aroma was of honey, wheat, raspberry and a touch of alcohol. The taste was smooth, sweet wheat, honey, fruit and soft carbonation. It had a medium mouthfeel and very smooth overall. Tasty.

Tasted from a sampler at the brewpub. Hazy yellow-orange with a thin head. Very heavy raspberry character on a surprisingly full-bodied beer. Not one of my favorites.

Draft in a sampler at the brewpub. Pours a hazy, almost murky, dull straw gold color with a small white head. The aroma is initially super sweet and buttery, and opens up to some raspberry candy eventually. The flavor has more raspberry, but everything is so sweet and muddled instead of clean and fruity. Some wheat, sugar, bread, and marshmallow, too. Cloying, especially in the nose.

aroma is of raspberries; immediately tart followed by a medium funk that straddles the rail between off putting and interesting. funk presents initially as perhaps (but surely not) yeast but reveals as rotten piles of ruined malt. appearance is hazy - creamy even - yellow with nil head or carb. flavor is neutral metallic then hints of tart fruit. it is hard to deduce further flavor notes as the mouthfeel is so flat that it causes me to grimace to prevent an outright gag. the first drain pour out of the past couple hundred beers, and that includes fully infected malt liquors and ESLs.

Tasted 3/31/11. Sampler from the Brewpub. Hazy with a golden hue. White lacing head. Aromas of raspberries and honey with a touch cereal grain. Light to medium bodied with a rounded raspberry candy, marshmallow flavor. Mild and easy with a tangy finish. Nothing overt, but a definite summertime sipper.

light slight rasberry on the nose, pours a acidic pale orange yellow with fizzy head, light clear rasberry on the tongue, pretty much lacking in depth, was not that good.
