LAWBREAKER – UNFILTERED LAGER (3,5%)

330ml bottle. Pours a hazy medium gold, with a white head. Hoppy, malty aroma, citrus, caramel, faintly spicy, yeast, grass. Dry, light to medium bodied, mid bitterness, balanced CO2. Malty, hoppy, spicy taste, citrus, caramel, yeast, faintly grainy. Quite well made for a 3,5%ABV, well above average. (2014-11-17)

0.33 l bottle from ICA supermarket in Södermal, Stockholm. Yellow lager with a decent head. Lots of hops for such a low alcohol beer. Quite OK.

Bottle bought @ Hemköp Majorna. Pours tiny hazy pale golden with a frothy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving some sticky lacing on the glass. Smell is tiny malty and tiny herbal with buttered bread, straw, soil and orange zest. Taste is slightly sweet, bitter, slightly malty and herbal with buttered bread, caramel, straw, orange zest and lemon balm. Mouthfeel is crisp, slightly astringent and light bodied. Finish is bitter, slightly malty and herbal with bread, straw, lemon balm and soil. Ok...

Flaska från ICA. Gyllengul grumlig vätska med fingertjockt skumlock. Brödig arom som blandas med lite syrlig jäsyig doft. Ordentligt humlad. Kanske lite väl mycket. Känns som en wannabe till välhumlade lager. Tyvärr fixar den inte det.

Ktwse (5818) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 29, 2014
Pours clear amber with tall frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, rye malt, bread. Taste is balanced bitter with light bread sweetness followed by mellow bitter finish. Body is light and smooth with about average carbonation. Not bad at all for a "folköl".

Bottle, thanks to Ronny, split at Colin and the Vikings tasting "After Party", Nol, Goteborg, Sweden 22/03/14. Hazed pale golden with a moderate off white covering that retains well. Nose is citric peel, straw, light hops, peach. Taste comprises light hops, orange pith, light mineral notes, hint of pine. Light to medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent hoppy sessioner. Don’t get why this a premium lager ? Not strong enough for one, more akin to a session IPA. This beer is not dissimilar to the other 3.5 % Train station which is classed as an APA!!!
