Cloudy golden color. Very nice spicy, classic aroma. Balanced body, less sweet than it used to be, with a strong hopping, and a very strong spicy character (cloves).

Gold wheat beer. Very nice spicy aroma, weizen typical, sweet and malty. Good body, less aggressive than the other beers of the brewery; lovely ’spicy’ taste, slightly sweet; light caramel taste; floreal. Good palate, bitter and also aromatic.

Draught, 4.7% at the brewpub. OK citric banana aroma. Cloudy dark amber colour. Big stable creamy tan head. The flavour is sweetish, quite hoppy, quite bitter and spicy. The bitterness is a bit much, but apart from that a nice beer.

cloudy orange colour, nice head, corn and orange aroma, herbal, dry, quite complex

jmgreenuk (9757) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - OCT 11, 2012
On tap at the brewpub. Cloudy, yellowish/brown pour with a thin white frothy head and some broken lacing. Big fruity aroma, typical of a wheat beer. Pleasant fruity, medium sweet, slightly bitter taste, with a little bitterness remaining on the palate. A very drinkable beer that could easily be consumed all night long, unlike some other beers of this genre that are often too sweet.

Draft. Pours a deeper amber with a beige head. Yeasty banana like aroma with caramel, toast and spice. The flavor features toasty wheaty notes, caramel, spicy yeasty notes, and lighter notes sweet banana. Pretty good. The best offering on the day I visited.

Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - AUG 20, 2007
Light brown-red colored, strongly cloudy appearance. Big lasting yellow head. Strong banana in sweet aroma, yeast also there. Medium bodied. Flavor is dominated by yeast and banana also, some sweet caramel also comes up with mild spiciness. Nice and rich flavored beer.

kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - JUN 4, 2012
From Tap @ the Brewpub/ The body is brown and very cloudy. Intensiv wheat malty and just a bit yeasty. 9/11/10/11/-/11

Embrouille (2854) - SWITZERLAND - FEB 11, 2009
Draught at the brewpub. Appearance: It pours a murky amber/orange beer with a tall off white head. Good head retention. Beautiful lacework. Aroma: The nose is very inviting, fruity and spicy. Banana, nutmeg, cloves, vanilla and oranges showing up. Flavor and palate: Surprisingly dry with a lot of cloves, vanilla and nutmeg-notes. Nicely balanced. Lovely caramel background. Dry finish reminiscent of cloves. Overall impression: A very interesting Weizen. Deeply pleasant.
