Tap at 2017 Michigan Winter Beer Festival. Is there a style that these guys can't do? Apparently not stouts. This is very nice. Near black with small head. Dark chocolate, vanilla, bourbon. Very nice harmony of flavors. Fairly sweet. Delicious. MrHangover (4693) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - JUL 22, 2017
Bottle @ Floris’ Leaving Party. Pours a pitch black beer with a big brown dense head on top. Aroma of vanilla, chocolate, some bourbon vanilla, woody notes. Flavor is bittersweet, dark chocolate, a bit boozy, white a nice and subtle bourbon burn in there. A bit harsh on the finish though and a bit off balance. Still very nice! kermis (15154) - The Hague / Amsterdam / Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - JUL 16, 2017

650ml bottle (thx, Chris S.!) shared with George. Pours a very dark brown with the same head. Aroma is chocolate, some green apples, bourbon, vanilla (8.5/10). Same taste with moderate to high sweetness and some boozy notes. Very nice, the Imperial Stout I do like. Amazing! Dogbrick (14389) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAY 25, 2017
Sample at Hoof Hearted during the "Konkey Dong - Can Release Party" on 05/07/2017. The beer is a brown-black color with a medium frothy tan head that recedes gradually to a film. Patchy lacing. Aroma of roast malt, bourbon and vanilla. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, vanilla, chocolate malt and coffee. The finish is oaky vanilla with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Good beer all around. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - MAY 10, 2017
22oz bottle acquired from the Bridgman Taproom (Bridgman, MI). Exciting find. Pours a thick dark ominous black hue. Thicker with good legs, opaque color, frothy milk chocolate head dies to a nice ringer, laces ok overall. Aromas are roasty and toasty, vanilla and creamy, bourbon, oak, cocoa and coconut. A lot going on, the vanilla really starts to express itself as it settles and warms a bit. Initial is fuller bodied but creamy, sweet, a bit silky on the palate. Vanilla bean, oak, and barrel essence meet a touch of spirit. Roast and toast, a fudgey jab with caramel, toffee, some sweetness. A bit firmer barrel, well integrated bourbon, spirit, warmth. This is tasty, sweet, darker. A good vanilla element, full enough body without overwhelming. Good barrel, big flavor. A pretty pour, alluring nose, rich flavors and good balance. Tasty dang stuff. deyholla (12663) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAY 7, 2017
Bottle shared by Adam, thanks! Pours black with a creamy brown head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a combination of vanilla and bourbon supported by dark grains and roasted malts. Flavor has strong dark grains and vanilla with growing bourbon and roasted malts. jackl (8597) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAY 7, 2017
Bottle in the GTMW line share, thanks to Galvan. Deep brown pour with a tan head. Nose is really rich and robust. Full of coffee, vanilla. Dark chocolate. Similar flavor profile. Mildly sweet. Vanilla rocky road fudge. Robust espresso and dark ashy malt on the finish. Full body, oily.
