Bottle purchased at the source and opened with friends. Pours clear yellow with a thick white head. Aroma of malt, herbs and funk. Malty and herbal flavor with tart fruit and funk accents before a salty finish. b3shine (9338) - Indiana, USA - JUL 4, 2016
Draft to snifter at Transient. This batch is 4% abv. Looks good; a slightly hazy lighter gold with white head that slowly but steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells pleasantly tart, biscuity, and lemony with a bit of salt in the background. Tastes like it smells with a softer medium light-bodied mouthfeel. A softer, more traditional, and enjoyable example of the style. JBPortland (1582) - Virginia, USA - MAR 25, 2016

Bottle shared by deyholla. Pours a hazy light yellow with white head that clung to the edges. Tart fruit on the nose. Lots of the same for taste. Acidic but not overly so. Lemon, some underlying sweetness. Excellent body jackl (8597) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - DEC 6, 2015
Bottle, thanks to thealum via Deyholla. Slightly hazy light gold with a large white head. Lemon and some general mineral. Grain. Some sugar. Flavor is pretty sharp. Acetic. Lemon meat. White bread. Aggressive profile. Strong carvonation. This is simply too sharp for its own good. deyholla (12662) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - DEC 6, 2015

Shared 16.9 oz. bottle poured to snifters, showing a cloudy, orangey gold color with sudsy, soft white head foam that reduced to a bubbly ring & film, and left some waves & spots of lacing on the glass. The nose was light grain, rind & funk, somewhat dry, with esters as lemon & orange. Light to medium bodied, with lively, seltzer-like carbonation, the taste was less funk, citrusy tartness, dryness, and subtle, complementary silkiness to the mouthfeel. Just the right level of sour to put the palate on alert. Well done! Brigadier (3800) - Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA - OCT 10, 2015

Curious to test the waters with yet another new Chicago brewery, I opted for one of their lighter samples. My reward was a respectable gose that felt true to the spirit of the style while adding a subtle Midwestern twist. Should I come across their beers on draft I will be sure to give them another look.
Aroma / Appearance - The golden semitransparent body looks the part of a typical gose complete with a salty aspect and citrusy core.
Flavor / Palate - The clean mouthfeel refreshes from the first sip well into the finish. The texture begins to get a bit heavy by the last sip however but never in a problematic way. If this represents their abilities I think they have a promising future.
