COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named after the city in which it originated, our Vienna style lager is brewed using a decoction boiling process. Munich, Pilsner and Vienna malts are used, which add depth to its amber color. Subtle hops, crisp, with residual sweetness.

b3shine (9154) - Indiana, USA - NOV 12, 2014
Draft to taster. Looks solid; a slightly hazy orange with off-white head. Smells of amber malt and lager yeast with a bit of grain as well. Tastes like it smells with a pleasant medium-bodied mouthfeel. A decent example of the style.

BuckeyeBoy (8501) - Boise, Idaho, USA - AUG 26, 2016
On tap at von Trapp taproom. Pours out a rich crisp golden topped with a small head. Nose is light roast malts honey sweetness and a little wood. Taste is more of the light roast malts and the sweetness.

(Rating #4422)

12 oz. bottle from Prost. Aroma is toasted grain, sulfur, and mild yeast. Flavor is a reflection of the aroma with some light hints of dark bread and maybe a toasted nutty hint. Body is pretty thin/ rides the line of watery. Overall nothing close to high end of the style but drinkable enough.

Aroma: medium intense. Quiet malty , sweeter walls. Neat presentation. 7+
Look: mild haze on amber with lighter white top. Some lace shown.3+
Flavour/body: Medium bodied. Nice malt feel , soft approach. Delicate. Reminded me a bit of Alt beers.

JStax (7186) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - OCT 12, 2016
Draft sample at the source. Clear copper with a white head of foam. Aroma is spice and wood. Munich character. More sweet. Medium body and medium carbonation.

mansquito (6927) - Nueva York, New York, USA - DEC 31, 2011
Trapp Lodge: Pours a golden color with a white head (looks kind of similar to a German style Marzen as opposed to an American one). Aroma is light caramel malts. Taste is much the same. This is an easy downer and could easily be consumed in great quantities. Light hops are there as well, but considering them is almost an after thought. This is a proper session beer. Crisp and refreshing.

Boutip (6533) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 18, 2013
Tap: Poured a light clear amber color lager with a small foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of light cereal notes with light caramelized malt notes. Taste is a mix of light medium-sweet caramel malt with some cereal and grainy notes. Body is light with good carbonation. Nothing earth shattering here but well balanced and easily drinkable.

Le miel oxydé suinte de partout, ca semble être une concotion trop verte. Finale mouillée, peu de rafinement.

Glouglouburp (6103) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 13, 2010
In short: A basic and inoffensive Vienna. Too clean but also very drinkable.
How: Tap at the brewpub
The look: Clear golden-blonde body topped by a very small white head
In long: Timid nose has light fruity esters. Taste is a mix of dried fruits and fresh fruits (citrus fruits, bananas, pears). Only a tiny little bit of caramel. Discreet leafy hops. Lively body. Intensity level is very low. This is the type of all-too-clean and polished lager I would expect from a mass produced can coming from a large scale respectable European lager brewery. Inoffensively easy to drink. One could say this is a conservative lager. But I personally don’t think it is made out of homophobes and guns.
