Thnx Bullit. Red, brown colored brew. Molasses, raisin in the aroma. Flavor has sweetness, raisin, alcohol, prumes, dark fruits. A bit too much alcohol. Still nice. rickgordon (3878) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - SEP 1, 2010
Bron colour with bubbly head. Dark bread, syrup, caramel and light salty toffee. Mouthfeel is big yet elegant, and chewy. Flavour is big and has notes of molasses (salty toffee?), dark bread, darker fruits. Big body, big flavour, but still bit too bold. Not your everyday Barley Wine due to the sweet, salty molasses thing. Really low on hops as I see it. Malt bomb, where Barley Wine meets Scotch Ale. Low bitterness, if any at all. Long duration. Too young still. jongo (85) - Stockholm, Sweden, SWEDEN - SEP 5, 2010
Bottle. Latte colored thick foam. Brown and hazy color. Smell of sweet figs, cinnamon, raisins and alcohol. Taste is alcohol, caramell sweetness, figs and a hint of red berrries. Medium mouthfeel with an earthy bitter aftertaste. Not done yet. Needs cellering, now it´s to much alcohol taste. lusikka (7813) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 16, 2010
330 ml bottle @ Pub Kultainen Apina. BBE April 2020.Vignale (3829) - Malmö, SWEDEN - OCT 26, 2010
Pours a dark reddish brown colour with a minimal white head on the edges. A bit lacy. Aroma of fruits, toffee and slightly toasted malts. Flavour of caramel malts, oak, syrup and dried fruits. Medium bodied, slick/oily mouthfeel. Bit watery and thin, but alcohol is very well hidden here.
I sanning ett maltvin. Som att dricka flytande malt. Fortfärande väldigt kärv och smakar säd, sirap och alkohol. Ser fram emot att prova igen om några år.

11.2 oz bottle. Caramel malts on the nose with spicy squash and brown sugar. Pours amber brown with no head. Strong molasses notes with hints of rum and brown sugar, caramelized malts with hints of toast. Very nice sipping beer, I think with some time it will dry out or atleast the sweetness with be more subdued. fluffy (2472) - St Petersburg, Florida, USA - JAN 8, 2011
the site calls it a barleywine, but the bottle says its a scotch ale. its pretty impressive regardless. pours a dark brick head with a short but sticky large bubble head. i smell apples and bourbon. flavor is raisins, dates, brown sugar rum, some pear, figs. a mild alcohol burn and somewhat buttery on the palette. very well done i must say. michael-pollack (4959) - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 21, 2011
330ml Bottle: Aroma of malt, toffee, light butterscotch, light molasses, slight toasting, and a hint of wood. Poured deep amber/mahogany/copper in color with a small, tan head that lasted throughout. Clear. Lightly sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of malt, toffee, slight toasting, and some maple sugar. Medium body. Average texture. Soft to average carbonation. Malt and toffee finish. 10%ABV is completely hidden throughout. This beer just does nothing for me. dtborelli (322) - Sacramento, California, USA - APR 11, 2011
2020 Barley Wine
Pours medium brown with a light head and oily appearance. Hazy and unfiltered. Aroma is malty and sweet with notes of apple juice. Not a huge aroma, but opened up nicely with warmth. Flavor is boozy and sweet with a nice nutty malt note and some mild hop bitterness at the finish. Will age a few bottles to see how this does.

Pours a very dark clear mahogany color with a thin white head that fades fast. Nose is molasses, raisins & berries, sugary caramel malts and very similar to a quad. Flavor is light cardboard, sweet malts, chocolate and some dark fruitiness. Slight alcohol present and a sweet syrupy finish. Not too bad.
