Bottle. Shared at my 10K rating celebration. Nose is treacle, caramel, vanilla. Dark brown with lace. Sweet treacle flavor, chocolate, caramel, fudge, grapes. A bit oxidized, very fruity. A bit past its prime but lovely.

Bottle shared with JMD at HND 15.11.15. Ebony. Pale brown head. Strong aroma of roasted nuts, dark malt, figs, strawberry jam and brittle. Similar taste. Sweet aftertaste of sweet berries and sweet brittle.

Taste is sweet and lightly warming with notes of chocolate sponge, orange marmalade and toffee. Medium to full bodied with good carbonation. Overall, excellent

Traquair 900 has a beautiful hazel color. The aroma is malty with notes of fruit, caramel and brown sugar. It tastes good both plum and raisin and has a slight aftertaste of chocolate. Brown sugar characterizes the sweetness, but never gets too overwhelming. I can not trace any hop bitterness, but it is also not required in a Barley.

Nydt i vinglas. 11-07-07. MHT 01-03-17. Aromaen bliver i smagen nærmest helt opfyldt.

UPDATED: JUN 18, 2015 Massive soft dried fruit, a lot but not firm - breezy oaty and light clove. Initial taste is rich dipped McVitives with a terse darkened malt and oily sweetness. Sweet, half-melted toffee and a light milky cup of tea. Finishes smooth, brown sugar sweet and bright fading bitterness.

Bottle from the Garvie Cave, Beers Of My Youth Tasting

Much more noticeable spice here, a bit woodier and still that nice milky sweetness. Solid 4 still.
