BlackHaddock (8128) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JUL 17, 2017
Third of a cask pint at the Scottish Real Ale Festival in Edinburgh’s Corn Exchange on 7th July 2017. Really disappointed with this beer having loved everything else ( I think ) I have had from Traquair House. This was watery and weak in all aspects, nearly took it back! Scored kindly.

Cokemonkey11 (1161) - - AUG 8, 2015
1/3 pint Edinburgh real ale festival 2015. Pours medium almond amber with a thin thin white head subsiding slowly. Scent is bitter bitter with nut, almond hints. Resin. Taste is medium caramel and toffee character with bitter and smoky finish. Great.

nihtila (4084) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 11, 2015
Cask at SRAF. Clear orange. Aroma is sweet caramel, overripe fruits. Taste is sweetish, a bit boozy, stuffy caramel. Meh.

Stuu666 (15775) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 9, 2014
Cask at SRAF. Pours copper, nose is caramel, apple, taste is sweet, thin, light fruit.

Scopey (16772) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 16, 2014
Cask at Cloisters. It pours clear deep amber-brown with a medium yellow-white head. The nose is toasted brown, grainy, mild caramel, earth and wood. The taste is smooth, toasted grain, brown, wood and leather with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Simple malt-driven job. OK, but probably their poorest offering.

jamestulloch (4505) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 13, 2014
Cask at Scottish Real Ale Festival 2014. Clear caramel body with a thin off-white head. Light lacing. Aroma of earth, heather and Hobnob biscuits. Flavour of caramel, grass and biscuit. Thin body with an oily mouthfeel. Faint carbonation prickle. Well balanced - quite plain, but very nice.

allmyvinyl (11394) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 11, 2014
Cask at The Scottish Real Ale Festival 2014. Pours clear amber, thin off-white head. Aromas of caramel and apples, light sugar. Taste is sweet. Finishes clean enough. Bit boring to be honest.

JohnRMurdoch (5256) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - OCT 4, 2013
Cask @ Troon beer Festival. Reddish amber brown, decent head. Dry grain malt aroma. Dry grain flavour. Watery with bitter aftertaste. Bland, just drinkable.

mr_h (6215) - Ayr, SCOTLAND - OCT 3, 2013
Cask by handpump at Troon Beer Festival - clear dark amber, no head, mild raisin, malty aroma, raisin toffee, very thin texture, peculiar aftertaste

Nuffield (4254) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - JUL 21, 2012
A very simple beer: malty, caramel in front, middle and finish, with a smooth palate and a classic rich golden color. Fine; not fancy or flashy, and it didn’t really appeal much to me. (cask at Scottish Real Ale Festival, Edinburgh, June 2012)
