Very bitter pale ale with a clean and slighty dry finish. Slight sweetness and clear body. shaynsawchuk (681) - Mississauga, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 6, 2014
500 mL can. Amber with a soapy head of off white. Nose is herbal and spicy, resinous hops with a hint of citrus, layers of grainy sweet malt, honey and a touch of toffee. Balanced on the sweet side, with just enough hopping to prevent it from getting cloying. Malt driven English style Pale Ale with American ingredients. A little generic but not bad. Moderate plus body and carbonation. Quite clean. OntBeerDrinker (514) - Ontario, CANADA - JUL 5, 2014
Not much smell from the can & light. From glass typical smelling west cost pale ale. Grassy bitter lemony maybe grapefruit also. Dark amber orange. Some carbination not alot. some head not a lot and some sticks around. Taste is bitterness from hops grassy lemony/grapefruity like maybe. Dry. Veary familiar beer. Like alot of other pale ales/IPA’s. Medium but a little heavy bodied. This beer is like others of the style. Doe’s NOT stand out on its own. Like a repeated beer. It’s fine but not what I would perfer thought. Cheer’s. radiomgb (2686) - Peterborough, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 30, 2014
Clear copper in colour with a thin lasting white head, good lacing. The aroma is of caramel malts, some nuts and light hops. The flavour is more malty than hoppy, caramel and a light sweetness throughout. Sweet mouthfeel, medium/light body, medium carbonation. Finishes with a small hop bitterness and more caramel. A simple yet enjoyable pale ale.Alpha10 (814) - Ontario, CANADA - JUN 26, 2014
500ml can from the LCBO in Peterborough, Ontario.
Best before September 19, 2014.
2014/06/26 - Pours a clear, copper colour with a rocky white head that quickly reduces to a surface film. Minimal lacing. Aroma is caramel, bread, grass, earthy hops and mild citrus. Taste is caramel and bread, with some earthy tones and mild citrus. Mouthfeel is medium with sharp carbonation and a dry, mildly astringent finish. Less hop forward than I expected.

Can bought at the LCBO in Toronto/Canada. Overall a very very malty ale. Malt is what dominates this brew. Clear brown color, stable head, vanishes quickly but keeps a cover. Aroma is malt malt malt. Taste is malt malt malt. Almost no hops detectable. This beer reminds me a lot of Slovak or Czech malty craft lagers. The bitterness makes a cameo in the finish and aftertaste. Surprisingly tasty though it has no real hops presence. MrManning (2009) - Hamilton, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 15, 2014
Can- Deep orange with a billowing rocky cap. Leaves some nice leggins. Quite a malt forward nose with burnt sugars, resin, and some citric notes too.Bitter, but more sweet than Id like to see in the style. Its medium bodied, heavier than the alcohol would suggest. Long bitter finish. strowlands8 (236) - Ontario, CANADA - JUN 13, 2014
473 mL can from LCBO. Pours a copper colour with a light head, dissipates quickly. Aroma is very malt-forward, caramel and bread. Some earthyness as well. Mild citrus can be smelled from the hops. Taste is sweet as to be expected. Not overly impressed with this beer, I suspect it may not be fresh as I assume a west coast pale ale would have a larger hop presence. Single can from the LCBO. Pours a golden-amber colour with a big creamy warm cap, good retention and some thick foamy lace. Grassy hop nose with some citrus notes. Grainy cereal taste with the hops slowly appearing in the finish, creating some light bitterness and dryness. Again, citrus in the aftertaste. An easy drinking APA, just lacking a little blending in the flavours. cfrancis (3536) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 3, 2014
Pours clear amber with a small white head and good lacing. Aroma is faint caramel and light hop. Taste is again light caramel malt and earthy hops with a hint of citrus. Was expecting more.
