3.3
Metalchopz (3684) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 5, 2014
Single can from the LCBO. Pours a golden-amber colour with a big creamy warm cap, good retention and some thick foamy lace. Grassy hop nose with some citrus notes. Grainy cereal taste with the hops slowly appearing in the finish, creating some light bitterness and dryness. Again, citrus in the aftertaste. An easy drinking APA, just lacking a little blending in the flavours.

Pours clear amber with a small white head and good lacing. Aroma is faint caramel and light hop. Taste is again light caramel malt and earthy hops with a hint of citrus. Was expecting more.

Hidden_Pooch (518) - Stratford, Prince Edward Island, CANADA - JUN 1, 2014
Bottle. Not much I remember, but I liked it, because I guzzled down a six pack. More malty than hopping, but I guess it an English Pale Ale, which some old earthy, resiny hop flavour it there as well as some caramel and toast. Finishes off nicely with a little grapefruit tongue tinge.

3.5
Raistlin (499) - London, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 20, 2014
Pours a clear gold with an off-white head. Aromas are faint, mostly pine, light caramel, some malt. Slightly watery, with caramel, resinous hops, big mineral water notes, light juniper, and some grapefruit pith in the finish.

Freaky_tiki (1406) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 18, 2014
Pours amber with a minimal cap. This is a throaty pale ale, that tips more on the malt side of the see-saw than the hops. You can taste the fingerprints of their other brews -- IPAS & DIPAs -- in this one.

Enjoyable pale ale that didn’t blow me away, but with its mild taste, went down smooth.

stantheman (1104) - British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 13, 2014
Tall can from BCL store in North Burnaby. A nice orange amber beer with a decent beige head, quickly collapsing. A bit of hop and plenty of malt here, with a long and lingering malted finish. A decent summer pale ale here. 3.2.

Oh..and cheap. Good beer for the money.

Pretty good, I don’t know why so many lower ratings. Pours a good amber colour with great lacing of the head in the glass. Aroma is slight pine, grass, maybe a bit soapy. Taste is pretty smooth with a good medium bitter but some caramel malty notes too

can from LCBO, always on the look out for an everyday Pale Ale. This one is pretty good, fairly typical PNW style Beautiful colour, and nice firm head. Not too hoppy, kind of sweet. Tasty , not the one I was looking for but I’ll go there again.

500ml can. Pours a clear gold with an off-white head. Aromas are faint, mostly pine, light caramel, some malt. Slightly watery, with caramel, resinous hops, big mineral water notes, light juniper, and some grapefruit pith in the finish. Not bad, but very much OK. Better options are available at lower prices.
