650ml bottle into sample glass. Poured cloudy straw yellow with moderate white head. Aroma is citrus, clove and wheat. Taste is citrus, banana, clove, wheat and mild bitterness. Body was medium and bubbly. Overall, a solid North American hefe but it isn't epic or anything.

It’s not mind blowing. But it’s solid. Pours typical hazy straw colour with a foamy white cap. The aroma is banana, clove, and some funk. The flavour is again, banana, clove, funk, then some banana freezie, and cinnamon in the finish. Straight forward, but drinkable, and refreshing. solidfunk (9363) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - JUN 29, 2012
Initial smell is pungent with yeast. A little wheaty bitter that’s kind of interesting. A tiny bit of citrus. Pours cloudy light brown, beige. Smells more complex than it tastes. Some mild grapefruit astringency. Pretty liquidy taste. Average on the whole. Bottle shaynsawchuk (681) - Mississauga, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 26, 2012
650 mL bottle. Pours a pleasantly cloudy grey tinged yellow color, frothy white head that holds up. Refined aromas of banana, clove, butterscotch and bubble gum. Refreshingly dry and light bodied, medium carbonation, with a clean slightly sweet finish, very smooth. Not overly complex, but a great quencher. dandeman (1041) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 20, 2012
A: Slight banana accents with clove and a bit of vanilla; fairly balanced. App:White / yellow color, a bit cloudy. Head is average but long lasting. Banana flavors are dominant with a slight acidity. Clove and cinnamon are also showing. Finish is hoppy but a bit acid. A fairly good hefeweizen but flavors dont stick out much. Little annoying acidity on finish. Acceptable product but Belle Gueule Hefeweizen was far ahead.

Big bomber from the LCBO. Pours a cloudy golden-amber colour with an average head and decent lacing. Mild hefe aroma at first (with bananas and cloves), but then just becomes grainy (wheaty). The taste is pretty mild as well, but at least the hefe notes are there. A little spices in the finish. Creamy and watery mouthfeel. Refreshing, but lacking some character overall. rwgould (331) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 15, 2012
0.65l bottle from LCBO, served in a hefe glass. Pours a cloudy orange, medium, frothy white head, lots of bubbles. Aroma: Banana, lemon, wheat, yeast, cloves. Smells like a proper hefe. Palate: medium bodied, smooth, fizzy, slightly dry finish. Taste: Sweet, with quite a spicy finish. For a north american wheat beer, I really like it. Similar to Hacker-Pschorr or Paulaner, but spicier. cfrancis (3536) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 12, 2012

Aroma mid level. Proper hefe character noted but with our further depth.
Appearance hazed golden ale with medium lighter top. 3-
Flavor and Palate : medium lighter bodied. Medium carbonation. As in aroma all parts are there but lacking further refinement. OK.
(650mL bottle from the LCBO). Poured cold, a very hazy medium brownish orange with a very thin white head that left no lacing, very un-hefe and maybe due to lack of bottle conditioning. Aroma was fairly standard hefe, banana, sweet fruity esters, clove, bready wheat, not very strong. Taste started ok if unremarkable, banana, caramel, powdery yeast, but from the mid point on it devolved into eating a bowl of dry raw wheat, maybe with a bit of hops, yeast and flour. Not pleasant or refreshing, I barely got through it. A disappointing hefeweizen.
