Not bad, but was hoping for more. Pours tangerine with some head retention. Nose is banana, sweet and maybe a hint of orange. Mouth is similar. Very light body with some carbonation. Finish is a bit acidic. Spab (3973) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 8, 2012
650 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a murky, dull golden yellow with moderate-sized white head. Aroma is full of bubblegum, banana, clove and light citrus. Flavour is banana, wheat, hint of citrus and clove. Dry finish. Pleasantly refreshing. TheJester (2542) - Cavan Monaghan, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 7, 2012
650 mL bottle. Right colour, nice, lasting white head. Very drinkable, but nothing stands out. It’d drink it out of a can on the dock all summer, though. If it came in cans. barncatmatt (2287) - Cambridge, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 5, 2012
bomber from the LCBO. thick hazed golden, lasting white head. nice nose, typical hefe, but true to style. theflavour starts ok but the finish is to dry, and has a ton of raw wheat. hard to drink, kinda the opposite of what a hefe is supposed to deliver. wont buy again. 650mL bomber from the lick ’bo. Pours a hazy gold with a large off-white foamy head. Aroma is bursting with banana, bubblegum, citrus, clove, yeast and pale malts. Exactly what I want in a Hefe. Flavour is even better, mostly sweet but balanced well with the yeasty dryness. A faint tinge of hops is in their too. The fruity esters are really vibrant and compliment the malty sweetness. Carbonation is what you expect from the style, but not over-the-top and still drinkable. Very solid Hefe, a style which I never seek out yet rarely disappoints me, especially in summer time. Another solid one from Tree.

Wow just not fair that I’ve had Nelson Sauvin and Hopfen Weisse from Schneider on the same day! Well, it’s very decent here, but not a lot to recommend it. Sweet fruit middle with some light banana, very light citrus, not much phenolic or vanilla or anything to make it interesting. But damn refreshing all the same, I killed a bomber in 45 minutes while cooking dinner! (Very globby sediment yeast needs to b swirled a day in advance.) Awesome hazy orange colour with a white cap that quickly fades down to a ring with some wisps across the top. Banana and clove and some other spices in the aroma. Great flavour. Banana an almost citrusy elemnt and some good biscuity malt going on. Fluffly and light across the palate without much carbonation. kevinsenn (2248) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 27, 2012
Bomber from LCBO. Cloudy amber. Mild banana aroma. Taste is banana, orange, and some slight spice. A good example of the a Hefeweizen, but I’ve always found the style a bit dull. pootzboy (1779) - Kitchener, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 25, 2012
Pours a roily, clouded pale gold (unfiltered - good so far) decent but not great cap for a weizen, weak lacing. Mild carbonation (not bottle contitioned). Aroma is decent - clove phenols, a bit of succulent fruits, boiled ereals and some funk from suspended yeast. Tastes better than it smells big biscuity malts, some fruitinss, spice but a decent hop decernment - long semi dry finish where the hops take over. Refreshing, yet this is a substantial brew. I lacks the refinements of the European imports but will do in a pinch. XaenDovet (1282) - British Columbia, CANADA - APR 21, 2012

poured with little to no lacing! what the phack!? anyhoo, it looks pretty good with its deep yellow haziness. smell is yeasty and banana-y, with a very slight bit of dusty. taking a drink of this shows not a whole lot of anything. i can get some yeast out of it and such a small bit of banana. sub par beer.
