Cloudy blond color. The aroma is mild, spicy, some cloves. Dry and smooth mouthfeel, ordinary spicy wheat flavor, with correct bitterness; there is a very light residual sweetness that makes it more pleasant to drink.
Cloudy yellow. Fresh, big malty aroma. Full body. Well-proportioned banana, sugar and spice. Love the big maltiness. Quality hefe...why not in Vancouver? mcberko (17178) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 14, 2009
On tap at the Alibi Room - pours a clouded orange colour. Bold wheaty flavour, with grass and yeast. The best from Tree Brewing, a fine wheat beer. Lubiere (13780) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 4, 2006
An hazed gold weizen with a thick white head. A pleasant banana aroma with notes of cloves, very to style. In mouth, a creamy sweet malt with banana esters and cloves, very classy. Another fine Tree product (not sarcastic this time). Thanks to Capflu (and Presario for the second one...a nice little extra). bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - OCT 5, 2007
(Bottle) Pours a cloudy golden body with a medium white head. Aroma of potent lemon zest upfront and then trails with banana bread, light clove, and bubble gum. Flavor of banana, wheat, and lemon.

LCBO Tree series. Hits the style, tasty and on sweet side, Decent drinkability. Hazy slightly orange. Citrus and wheat aroma. Slightly above average mouthfeel. jercraigs (10303) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 2, 2007
Bottle from the brewery. Very hazy pastel yellow body with a modest white head. Nice yeasty banana aroma. (7+) Tart flavour, surprisingly bitter finish showing the hop presence, more of the yeasty banana character. (7+) Average to medium palate. (3+) Surprisingly good - one of their better offerings for sure. DuffMan (10271) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 25, 2006
Yellow and cloudy, very much so if you agitate the last third of the bottle before finishing the pour. A massive merangue of a head. Aromas of banana and vanilla bean and a bit of fresh citrus. Light palate packed with flavours of banana, orange, and vanilla cookie. This is the best german-style hefe not made in Germany that Iíve ever had. Truly excellent. Any first impressions?JoeMcPhee (9426) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 15, 2007
-A ring of foam circles the opaque yet sunny beige.
-Boisterous bananas foretell sweetness, as citrusy wheat attempts to lure it down into balance.
-A very enjoyable balance of banana esters and clove phenols is boldly displayed atop the quenching wheat character.
-This is quite the impressive, bulky mouthfeel for a weizen, lifted by prickly bubbling.
What if you dig deeper?
-While the yeast apport is very strong, the chubby maltiness succeeds in diversifying the possible enjoyment.
-While others say it isnít too sweet, I would say it verges on being too sweet for my likings in the style. Maybe the huge maltiness is the culprit. But I canít complain about that.
-This isnít your typical super-drinkable, easily-approachable weizen for the gregarious. It is the beautiful, raw art of a flavor craftsman.
Bottle; no date.
660 ml bomber. Very cloudy, almost opaque orange-yellow beer and a thin white head. Big bright banana and clove aroma. Full sweet/spicy wheaty aroma. Light bubble gum. Palate is quite full, fresh and wheaty with lots of clove and bubble gum. Light banana and clove. Wheaty with a touch of floral flavour/aroma as well. Warming brings up some very faint smoky phenols. Itís a very well-crafted hefeweizen.
