Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours an opaque black with a small off-white head. Roasty nose, a little cocoa. Medium body, heavy roast and a massive, rough and unsophisticated bitterness with close to no aromatic qualities. Very harsh. Not how I like my IPA’s! 230213 madmitch76 (24807) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JUN 26, 2016

That’ll be me 20K then @ ChrisO’s. Thanks to Fiona. Hazy deep amber beer, small cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry, good fine carbonation. Thin dark malts. Some alcohol spice. Modest pine hops. Floral bitterness. Some mild citric peel. Light finish. Not bad, perhaps a little overcooked alcohol wise.
Bottle shared at Kenny’s 20K tasting - London. Pours brown with a tan cream head. Moderately sweet, with notes of toasted bread, bitter pine, crunchy grains, a little toffee, faint citrus fruits. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Further toasty malts in the finish, light roast, earth. Pretty OK overall. fiulijn (20515) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 23, 2013

650mL bottle, pours a dark brown / black with a reddish tinge and small tan head. Chocolatey, roasted malt and some toasted nuts on the nose with little hop presence detectable. Flavour brings out the hops more noticeably, beginning with some toasted nuts roasted malt, espresso, some burnt notes, burnt brown sugar and bitter chocolate, ending with some bitter citrus hops and burnt notes. Nicely balanced with a medium-to-full body and an astringent finish. Very solid offering from Tree.
