My favorite beer in the world. I wish it was available where I live. I can't wait to visit BC soon so I can enjoy it again.

Strong hops aroma and taste but balanced such that it doesn't taste metallic. Light to medium finish. Light carbonation. Delysid (1) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 6, 2004 does not count
Simply a perfect version of the American IPA style. The balance of sweet/bitter and the hop aroma are exactly right. Beautiful copper colour. Easily the best widely available BC microbrew currently on the market. JaneHanratty (10) - British Columbia, CANADA - APR 17, 2006
My current favourite beer! This sample a 12 oz bottlle. part of the search for the "Best BC IPA". Light amber with rocky white head, excellent lacing. Medium bodied, average carbonation, very clean finish. fass (1) - kelowna, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 23, 2006 does not count
my favorite all time, but not for anyone who doesn’t like a tonne of hops.

A hoppy yet crisp IPA. While the hoppy taste is clearly evident it is not overpowering. There is very little after-taste and yet there is a somewhat sweet aroma to the beer. Definately one of the better west coast bitter beers. StompBrockmore (316) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 10, 2006
341ml bottle - pours a lightly cloudy orange with a smallish white head on top. Aroma is not shy, and full of very fresh, piney, citrusy hops. Very inviting. Flavour is very citrusy and hop forward, but balanced by a smooth, slightly caramel malt roundness. The mouthfeel is full and rich, the best palette in the IPA business actually. That I’ve had anyway. Soft on the tongue, lightly carbonated. Nice, long bitter, earthy, piney finish, but not astringent at all and extremely well balanced. Remiscent of many American west-coast IPA’s, but more refreshing than many of those. This is one of the better, most sessionable IPA’s I’ve had. Awesome! July 26 2012. 330ml bottle pours clear amber with orange-red hues and nice inch foamy white head. Good retention and lasts to bottom of tulip glass. Aroma of citrus hops, grassy hops and hint of malt. Strong bitter bite of hops is first sensation on tongue settling to a real smooth palate that has no lasting bitterness or bite. Flavour is all hops, sour grapefruit, sweet grass and balanced with some mild earthy malt that cuts any harshness or sickly sweetness and balances the beer so well that there is no confusion or bitterness, just a short smooth finish that leaves me wanting another right away! Good thing it comes in 6 pack, because it is the most easy-drinking IPA I've had.
