Black body, medium to thin tan head, spotty lacing. Light roast, milk chocolate, and earthy notes in the back end. Easy drinking, with a semi-dry, medium-weight body. Finishes clean. ctipping (2269) - Florida, USA - JAN 2, 2017
16 oz. can. Black body with a nice off-white head. Smells of milk chocolate and vanilla. Tastes of milk chocolate with an aggressive roasty and bitter finish. Well carbonated. Medium body. Solid porter. gregwilsonstl (2708) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - DEC 17, 2016
Dark black. So good. Thick rich mild coffee. Very robust. Fudge is a great description if coffee was added to fudge. I need more Tree House! A little vanilla or maple and this may be my perfect beer. PhillyCraft (8196) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 13, 2016
Can care of Lee, thanks brah. Pours purple brown with a medium head. Notes of roasted malt, brown sugar, dark chocolate, plum, espresso, oats, and other dark fruit. Cinnamon hazelnut flavors as she warms. Medium bodied. Really nice and easy going porter from Tree House.

16oz can. Pours nearly black with a small, quickly-dissipating tan head. Aroma is chocolate, roast malt, caramel, some coffee, and just a hint of dark fruit. Taste is roasted malt, chocolate, licorice, dark fruit, slight molasses, and dark-roast coffee. Roasty, bitter finish. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Sticky and smooth mouthfeel. jkwood04 (5472) - Connecticut, USA - NOV 19, 2016
Big can in a tulip. Pours near black with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, some chocolate, a decent amount of smokiness, hints of dark fruits, light dough. Flavor the same with a nice blend. Average texture. A solid beer with a nice level of the smoked malts. MrChopin (4305) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - DEC 28, 2015

sepia with thin coffee ring, still top. Way in-your-face nose, heavy roast and anise, light oat. Reminiscent of mikkeller black tie. Husky front palate, tons of oatmeal and plenty of anise, light contrast mid palate with rawer sugar, finish stings lightly with underattenuation. Mod body overall but an incredibly long finish, light heat but overall nice. The roast elements (the only element) remind of Expedition.
Pour out of 750 mL growler, thick black pour with tan head, aroma brought notes of cocoa, roast, hints of dark fruit, coffee, slight vanilla. Taste was a mix of vanilla, dark chocolate, coffee, roast, coffee, finishing slightly sweet, slightly bitter. nimbleprop (8928) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - DEC 7, 2015
