COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bursting with 3.5lbs / BBL of pungent American hops, Julius is loaded with notes of passionfruit, mango, and citrus. A soft, pillowy mouthfeel and rounded bitterness makes Julius very, very easy to drink. You’ve been warned.

Growler shared with the fellas at HamTech Reunion 2014 - Clinton, NY. Pours hazy gold with a white foam top. Rich fruits abound with lots of the tropical stuff, melon, tangerine and orange. Not too bitter, fairly sweet. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Juicy and rich but still well rounded. Really juicy on the finish with some honey, pale bread, lots more melon and tasty citrus. Just loads of expressive fruit character in here. Wonderful.

Tasting at SF, Vancouver, courtesy of KyotoLefty, can
Cloudy blond color, generous head, persistent. Nice fruity aroma. Lean body, quite dry, bold; light malt base; the hopping is fruity, but also with vegetables notes, green walnuts, some astringency.
Very good, but a bit dirty.

500mL can, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of oranges, citrus hops and skunky herbal notes. Flavour reveals notes of fresh orange and citrus hops, some grapefuit, floral horas and a dry biscuity malt backbone. Dry, fruity and citric. Excellent stuff.

Sample at The Trillium and Tree House-tasting in Kville, Göteborg. Hazy pale golden beer with a nice offwhite head. Fruity grape aroma, citrus, tangerines, lemon zest, pine apples and peach. Hoppy citrus and pine flavor, tangerines, caramel, lemon zest, some peach. Fresh hoppy beer, very good but maybe I was expecting more.

Cloudy and tan. On the nose, a lot of spicy, weedy hop, some background sulphur. Moderate bitterness, and a fair bit more of that hop spiciness. The sulphury notes are not as evident on the palate. Finishes with hop bitterness. Not bad. Despite the rough aroma, it's pretty solid by the end.
