Growler from the brewery. Pours a cloudy, light yellow-amber color with a white head. Aroma is hoppy, pineapple, mango, grapefruit. Medium on the palate with light, creamy carbonation. Flavor is sweet, light cereal, pine hops, grass, citrus, pineapple, mango, with a clean, bitter finish. Reminiscent of other New England IPAs I’ve head. Excellent. >> Growler filled 5.29.14 and opened 6.1.14, shared with DTF on a rooftop party. Pours Tree House’s typical murky glowing peach and mango juice color, extremely unfiltered but no chunkies. White foam is healthy and sticks around. Nose is subtle and requires coaxing, but out comes this ridiculously fresh and soft tangerine and freshly made tropical fruit smoothie with banana, mango, papaya. Perfect prickly carbonation in mouthfeel gives this a flavor of something like a pineapple smoothie blended with orangina. One of the most fruity and juicy beers I’ve ever had. Could be blonde ale, APA, IPA, Saison- whatever. This one has the low bitterness, high hop forward fruit juice character, and a palate to put everyone but maybe a handful of brewers to shame. Absolutely mind blowing.

750 ml bottle to snifter (shared with jmborggren and the Mrs.). Looks good; a transparent golden orange with foamy eggshell head. Smells good too; piney hops with a mildly sweet pale malt backbone. Tastes like it smells with loads of juicy hops. Pleasant on the palate. A great IPA!
