Our modern take on an American Pale Ale features six hop varieties balanced by a crisp malt bill of pale and caramel malts. The beer is complexly aromatic, supremely hoppy, dry, and thirst-quenching. Sharp of grapefruit dance with notes of pine on the tongue before a firm citric bitterness finishes things off. A Tree House classic!

Pours a hazy pale orange with a semi dense white head. Nose: very balanced hoppy character, some flowers, light resin, light bisquit. Taste: very hoppy for a pale ale. Light malty side as well but still more crisp and piney than anything else. Highly drinkable - this is really really solid. Wish I had access to this on a regular basis. Lovely hoppy aftertaste too.

Pour a quite hazy orange, with a rather large fluffy white head. Aroma of pine, nice citrus, slight grass, slight tree bark and bread dough in the very back. Taste is slightly bitter, but has some slight sweetness to it as Well. Watery body, with a flat carbonation.

Can, huge thanks to Chris. Pours out that cloudy copper color with a fluffy white head. Aroma is of tangerine, floral hops, light tropical fruit, some caramel and light melon. Taste is solid, juicy and complex with a moderate nod to caramel malts. Hops are juicy citrus, floral, perfume, light pine and some tangerine. Really nice offering.

Can. Pours a cloudy orange beer with a nice white stable head on top. Aroma is citrussy, nice hoppy, grassy and some mango. Flavor is light bitter, piney and some grapefruit juice, but not much. A nice malty body that finishes light sweet. Aftertaste is bittersweet and medium long. Nice carbonation. Decent balance. Good stuff.

Hazy yellow, medium white head. Fresh floral and piney hop aroma. Medium-light body. Crisp and fairly complex for being light, pine and citrus hops with malt in the background, very drinkable.

Can. Pours a hazy, pale orange, fluffy white head. Aroma was awesome and bursting with hops, citrus, and pine. Flavor fell off for me from the nose. Lemon, soap, lots of bread, pine, heavily bitter, even some sweetness mixed in. I prefer the juicier hoppy offerings from them over this one. Lighter body, sticky texture, bubbly carbonation, bitter bite to finish.

750 mL growler . Originally reviewed 11/3/2014. Pale orange. Small white head. Nice collar and surface wisping. Aroma is light lemon and orange hop. Slight herbal character. Tastes like amarillo hops. Has that lemony flavor and some floral notes. Cracker malt in the middle. Mild herbal flavor in the back. Light body. Medium low carbonation. Decent pale ale, but doesnt stand out as very exciting.

Growler... Pours clear and yellow with a small, wispy, white head. Good retention. The aroma is bright, spicy, a touch earthy and a little crackery. Light to medium-bodied with adequate carbonation. The flavor is bittersweet with rindy hops and tea biscuits. Lengthy, bitter finish. Growler shared by biggsbowler!

Thanks again for the shares biggsbowler. Another solid yet disappointing pale from Tree House, fruity and relatively tasty but just not nearly as aggressive as offerings from Tired Hands/HF/RR.

Growler shared by biggsbowler. Clear light yellow pour with a white head. Mild fruity hop aromas. Tasty with grapefruit and citrusy hop notes. Nice balance with a sturdy caramel malt backbone. Good body and mouthfeel. A very nice APA.
