Bottle shared with northropfrye. I can smell a little bit of pumpkin. It’s not strong tasting, but pleasant.

Single bottle purchased from a BC Signature Liquor Store in Abbotsford, BC on 10/22/2012. Colour: Dark brown with hints of orange, and slightly cloudy with no head. Nose: A dusty yeast, A sweet caramelized pumpkin note, a hint of maple. Taste: Medium sweet, medium-light bitter, medium sour. Somewhat sweet but quite delicate and soft. Spice does slightly emerge late with a fading vegetable bitterness. Quite, quite enjoyable.

Nice aroma; malt, spices. Good flavours - starts malty with burnt caramel flavours and then opens up with pumpkin, spices and a bit of sweetness. Nice smooth finish, a little bit of bitterness. Overall great drinkability, a well done pumpkin ale.

650mL bottle pours a deep amber color with a nice white head that settles to spotted lacing. Aroma is mild pumpkin with some spice and mild hops. Taste is hoppy bitterness with some pumpkin and a light malty finish. A nice seasonal beer for Halloween.

Surprising drinkable pumpkin that balances initial hops with the spices. Best because it’s fresh. LCBO find.

I’m really impressed by this one. The pour is a dark murky brown with light copper tones at the bottom. A nose of huge squash and pumpkin with medium allspice and cinnamon. The middle is of brown sugar with toffee, breaded malts and an impending pumpkin vegetable taste. The pumpkin is huge and heavy with a spiced finish. No alcohol, but a slightly overbearing spiced pumpkin finish, but still tasty. Overall, fantastic brew with impressive malty balance with the pumpkin.

Good aroma and carbonation. oxygenate for full effect. Medium brown with medium head retention. Flavor is veggie/fruity with sweet maltiness balanced with bitterness of hops. Very balanced beer and multi-faceted flavor.

Pours a nice dark bronze colour with a medium size head with good retention. Aroma is a little light at the beginning but was it mores up more spice come thru mostly cinnamon and caramal malts. Flavour is sort of like a bourbon heavy on the spice with a nice sweetness from the malts and just a hint of pumpkin and squash
