pamaral148 (21) - CANADA - AUG 16, 2017Golden clear lager with sudsy medium head. The head persists. Purely malt aroma profile with bread, cereal, and some hay. Lightly sweet with just the barest hint of hop bitterness. The body is medium and the finish short.
CanCrusher (1210) - Ilirska Bistrica, SLOVENIA - SEP 17, 2016Can 0,50L. Courtesy of my cousin Tony. Crystal clear, golden color with small, creamy, white head. Aroma of grain, hay, toasted malts. Light sweet flavor with some crispness and light bitter finish. Medium body, dry texture and slick carbonation. Decent pilsner, good as a thirst quencher.
TimE (6489) - Tokyo, JAPAN - JUL 14, 2016Deep golden frothy white head. Virtually no nose with a bit of cereal. Very malty and lackluster
Bulk_Carrier (6064) - Vermont, USA - MAR 7, 2015This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking semi-hazy yellow color with a decent transparency about it. Light carbonation was seen rising to fill a slim fingered white foamy head. Light ringy lacing clings and then slides into the beer.
The smell had some sweet corn and cereal / graininess to it.
The taste was mainly sweet through the corn with a long sweet aftertaste leading to a wet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a good sessionability about it. The carbonation was pretty smooth as it seemed barely there.
Overall, not bad, definitely do-able, but I think it may have been a little old as the carbonation seemed just a bit too smooth.
MunBro (942) - St. Albert, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 2, 2014Pretty well balanced and flavourful for a Pilsner. A nice crispness to it with bread, hops, floral flavours. A nice bitterness at the end.
brokensail (16695) - Dublin, California, USA - SEP 7, 2014Can @ AirBNB Arts Colony. Pours a slightly hazed golden color with a finger of white foam. Aromas of butterscotch, bread dough, and popcorn. A lot of grain husk and flowers, too. An interesting fruity ester component...apricot? Flavor is sweet and bready. A lot of butterscotch as well. Hints of cracker and caramel popcorn. Some light floral and earthy hops. Mild bitterness. Not bad.
KansaiBeerLvrs (5652) - Kyoto, JAPAN - AUG 7, 2014Tree brewing’s kelowna Pilsner. 4.8% drunk from the can. 2.60$ for a 500ml can. Pale gold pour, thick head. Light malts, crackery aroma. The taste is light grains, crackers, bread crust, sharply bitter finish. Meh it is ok, though it has an odd earthy nutty character to it. It is a pilsner made without pilsner malt - not to style.
Hidden_Pooch (518) - Stratford, Prince Edward Island, CANADA - JUN 1, 2014I guess this is a pilsner, but someone on rate beer decided it wasn’t. Not my favourite of tree offerings, but not a bad one either. Taste of lighter malts, with some sweetness and hop spiciness in there as well. Has a crisp clean refreshing finish with some more spice near the end. Not a bad pilsner in my opinion.
Reimer96 (1743) - Alberta, CANADA - MAR 21, 2014Pours a clear pale gold with a creamy white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of sweet pale malts, light spicy hop presence from the saaz hops and some DMS. Taste is sweet pale malts, very little hop flavor but it is crisp and clean with a dry finish. As a pilsner this beer is not...as a pale lager this beer is...need to re-label beer as such or add some pil malts and kick up the hops a notch to make this a pilsner.
