Draft @ the brewery. Golden yellow with a small white head. Floral, lightly buttery aroma. Sweeter flavour than expected, grassy notes, light bitterness. (5+) Average palate.

Beer looks slightly hazy pure gold with a one-inch noisy cap with not bad retention, for a pilsner this isn’t to shabby looking. Aroma seems mild and made from noticeable hops, and a dry wheatiness, smells ok but a touch to mild for my liking. Flavor is crisp and light comprised of mild citrusy hops, a nice light smooth malt character and finishes dry and clean. Nice simple brew that any one can enjoy yet still quality made, ok for BBQ’s and days at the beach. Review done while watching Hannibal rising.

500ml can. Pours a clear golden straw with a thick one finger head. Nose- grassy hops, minerals, sweet biscuit malt. Taste- reasonable hop level gives it a decent bite. Thicker malt body then expected. Biscuit malts are a big presence. Not really a crisp refreshing lager that I was hoping for. its not bad, but more of a full bodied lower carbonation lager. Finish is a mix of sweet and dry metallic flavours.

Can
Blond color; nice creamy head. Aroma of cereals, grainy, and hay, but behind there is a light hop note. Quite common flavor, light malt and hay, but again with a subdued pleasant hop. A little but pleasant Lager, underestimated.

500ml can. clear golden pour, very very light nose of floral hops, and some light grains. Flavor was quite thin, and a touch watery, not awful, but not great. A good lawnmower beer.

Tree brewing’s kelowna Pilsner. 4.8% drunk from the can.  2.60$ for a 500ml can. Pale gold pour, thick head. Light malts, crackery aroma. The taste is light grains, crackers, bread crust, sharply bitter finish. Meh it is ok, though it has an odd earthy nutty character to it. It is a pilsner made without pilsner malt - not to style.
