2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours pale yellow with good bubbles.
Aroma is bubblegum and doughy yeast
First sip reveals tingly mouthfeel. Slight banana bubblegum at the front finishes straw like. Smooth.
Aftertaste is doughy yeasty finish. As this beer warms up, more clove flavour and aroma is noticeable. As well it seems a tad watery, but maybe thats just me being accustomed to the high alcohol stouts.
Pours a hazy golden yellow with a frothy white head. Aroma of orange, citrus peel, pepper, coriander and yeast. Taste is spicy pepper cloves, citrus oranges, bitter orange peel and some unbalanced spiciness /bitterness on the finish. Easy drinking beer just a bit off. cmacklin (1274) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 29, 2014
330 ml bottle. Pours a hazy gold colour with a small white head. Sweet aroma of malt, citrus and yeast. Flavour has notes of wheat, malt, yeast, citrus and light spices. Light body, watery texture and average carbonation. Lagerboy (2221) - British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 3, 2013
Unclear pale yellow, big rocky white head settles and lasts. Yeasty citrus fruit, wit malt aroma. Taste is citrus and yeasty, wit malt and sour lemon, lightly spiced, some clove. Average carbonation, light bodied, low hopped. Yeasty earthy dirty finish. LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary) Narnad (1521) - Crystal Lake, Illinois, USA - MAR 16, 2013
Pours a lightly hazed yellow with a very HUGE white, pillowey head. Aroma has a light clove, some lemon and a heck of a lot of wheat malt. Flavor starts off with a clove and wheat malt flavor with some light lemon citrus to cut those strong starting flavors. Body is nice, very fizzy with some light tartness to it. Overall a very good witbier. andrewturba (1190) - Alberta, CANADA - DEC 13, 2012
Pours a cloudy yellow with huge white head that doesn’t seem to dissipate and leaves a lace all the way up the glass. Aromas of honey, light herbal hops, and some spice-coriander. Flavours of zesty citrus-orange, wheat, yeast, light sourness, dry/tart finish.

Bottle brought to me across country by my inlaws. Pours a cloudy golden colour, big white head with huge piles of lacing. Smells quite obviously Belgian yeast like. Tastes Belgian, sweet and a touch of bitter. Not bad. Powertrip (1000) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 16, 2012
6-pack purchased from Willow Park Wine & Spirits in Calgary, AB on 09/08/2012. Colour: Medium yellow with slight haze and extremely high foamy white head. Nose: Light pineapple and strawberry among strong wheat base. Raw flour and some generic cleaning detergent smell. Taste: Medium sweet, medium-light bitter, medium-light sour. Strong onslaught of icing sugar all the way through mid-palate. Citrus late and a gentle bitterness through the finish. Too much sugar in the taste and not complex. pours yellow with a huge white head. Aroma is very spice, clove and corriander. Very nice flavour bold and spicy with lots of banana and clove. A very nice wit beer. Hazpat007 (3) - - JUL 29, 2012 does not count
I want to like this beer, but I guess I have been spoiled by Cellis White and Hoegarden. It is an ok white, but not much on the citrus. Pretty much wheaty, dry finish. It will do in a pinch Cirrhosis (1283) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 11, 2012
Brew first appears to be clear gold but after a swirl and the second half bottle brew became murky and lightly brown. Aroma has a massive citrus element that seems switch from a orange zest to crushed pineapple. Sourness mildly with big sweet wheat body. Can you say caramel I can. Zesty Mc zesterson. Seems so very dry, crisp and clean. BELTCH!!!! Lack of carbonation is not an issue. What is this spice????most likely coriander. This is so much lighter then lets say Hogarden but you can slam this back twice as fast.
